Texture?

Where did you learned to texture? I've modeled a building but it is untexured. Is here someone who knows some great tuts? The building is not very complex but it has windows.

When you say texture do you mean UVing or using GIMP/Paint.net/Photoshop?
If you mean making a texture with an image editor (under "skinning" section):

i always watch the faq but maybe i only skimmed it. thank you for answers (and i want to learn who to create textures (gimp ect) uving is more simple than gimp)

Like my modeling skills, everything I know about texturing I essentially learned myself through lots of trial and error. I'm still not that great(
this is an example of my "best" work), and wish I knew how to achieve more professional results.

this texture is awesome. did you copied anything from google pics or did you create everything your own? which programms did you use?

I didn't copy from anything, that texture is one I did 100% on my own. I used GIMP 2.6.2.

metall textures are easy (now). but whats about wood? is here someone who can make an example?

I don't make wood on my own (I'm too lazy to) I use the pattern that comes
with GIMP 2.6.
