Pics! I've heard 'round the mill that some folks have wanted an Obi Wan to carry the Quigon saber. Well, all things considered, here you go! An interchangable Obi Wan ( thanks to a tip by Majin Revan), hosting both his own, and Quigon's sabers! Plus a new force ability!

Ya, I need to work on the name of the Force attack some more. It's supposed to be more of a force POWER DRAIN instead of a FORCE POWER drain, if that made sense. But anyway, it simply put is a force push that does damage, modeled after Quigon and Obiwan's attacks in Ep.1

I'm putting the modeling on the backburner for right now till i get my XSI back.

Obi can change sabers like any other soldier changes guns. Still a couple kinks to work out, but the sabers work fine :)

Is it possible for them to have different combos for each lightsaber? :)

Thanks for the offer! But for now, since I'm in the full swing of things with sides, I'm going to keep my attention there for the time being. But thanks though!

Hmmm... I found the script which defines the anims for the characters, but i don't believe that i can

A) have a character have 2 anims, one for each weapon. There's a gun anim and a saber anim. No more, no less.

B) switch anims in the first place because those would've had to of been applied in the primary modeling

So if anyone finds out differently, I would very much like to know.

You can switch animations, for example, give obi wan lukes animation. I dont know how to do it, but use the search function :)

Omg, this would allow using the 7 forms of lightsaber combat.

Quite possibly! Then again, one would need to animate them all...

No - I don't think so.
Mace Windu's anims could be used for form 7, Juyo/Vaapad, because he's a Vaapad-user,
Obi's anims could be used for form 3, soresu, for he's a Soresu master,
Dooku's anims could be used for form 2, makashi, because he used that form in ep. 2

and so on....
