teancum i barely played your new version 1.2 and it was great but 9i don't know if anyone has said this but) it doesn't work that well in clone wars. in the middle of the battle it just quites and it is kinda wierd.

Anyway i love the a-wing, and naboo starfighter those are deffenatly my fav's. Cant wait for ver. 2 These rock.

Yeah it's not without bugs. I haven't set the memory pools high enough for the amount of vehicles that are in the map. Huh, I never really expected anyone to try and play the map for more than 5-10 minutes I guess.

it's done that to me too. The shut down thing. :D O played it for a while in clone wars, too, because it's hard to test all the vehicles without staying on the map for a while because of the longer respawn.

That speeder is seen on Felucia, in the convoy shot... before the camera pans to Aayla and she gets pwned.

Those should be cool in SWBF!!!! :D I would have been happy with just the A-wing and AT-XT, but the list of cool vehicles keeps growing and growing! This project is full of surprises.

I've added my own ARC Gunship. I'm not sure who's texture it is, (it was in sef's ARC mod, I just extracted it and converted to TGA) but I hex edited the msh files and created all new odfs and a new side so that it wouldn't overwrite anything. It features proper blue laser fire, and the rockets fire two at a time, like in the 'toon.

in the toon, it kinda shot six at once

Well, when it made an 'entrance' to the ship, it shot two at once, then when firing on Grevious, it shot four at once. I figured two was more balanced.

NEWS:

Good news, we're not on Geonosis anymore. Welcome to the (not so) peaceful plains of Bothawui.

Thanks to Psych0fred, I was able to get proper Droid Starfighters for the next Tech Map. They're all the Vulture Droid style. The one in BF1 is actually a Vulture Droid (a la The Phantom Menace), but it was never set up with animations. Well, now we have four new ones. Two styles: The Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith, each have versions with and without proton torpedos. They don't overwrite the old droidfighter, so you could have the old plus new ones.

The Jedi Interceptor is almost finished, too. There are six different paintjobs, each representing a different Jedi. Anakin Skywalker's is yellow, Obi-Wan Kenobi's is red, Mace Windu's is purple (like in the Clone Wars cartoon), Saesee Tin's is green (like in the cartoon), Plo Koon's is dark blue (we assume he was issued an Interceptor, though he still preffered his modified Delta-7 craft), and finally orange for Kit Fisto (was the last cool color I had). The first five will be found in different places when the new version of Haruun Kal: Jungle comes out, and Kit Fisto's will be in the Tech Map.

The Hovernaut is completely fixed. That's right, fixed.

The ARC Gunship is also complete, although I really need to know who did the skin so I can give credit.

The AT-RT will make an appearance, but is nowhere close to a properly working version.

The CIS GAT (Fightertank) will also make an appearance, but in this version the head (the turret, basically) will not rotate, though you can pitch the guns up and down. It also has no animations yet (it animates kinda like the Republic Fightertank) and doesn't have the white jets shooting out the bottom yet, as seen in the Clone Wars game.

The TIE Phantom is basically done, but for balance purposes, you won't be able to use the cloak ability.

MajinRevan's excellent Imperial LAAT/i will make an appearance.

The K-Wing is back, this time with a new model and new animations.

You'll get to experience the Light Attack Speeder, but it has a few collsion problems, so you'll have to get in from the back.

For now the Nubian Speeder has been replaced by it's prototype (literally -- it was a prototype Pandemic model). Look for the Nubian sometime in the future after collision bugs have been worked out (be warned, this has collision bugs, too).

I have two versions of the swamspeeder -- the two man version (as seen on starwars.com ) and a one man version. I'm having trouble with these crashing the game, so you might only see them as props.

I took the Naboo N1 out. For some reason I couldn't get it to spawn when I revamped the map.

If you please: I will ask for feedback on certain craft (there will be a list for the next release). These are the closest to complete, so if you find bugs, please let me know. I want to get these vehicles released. For now, vehicles that appeared in BF2 that Fred has remade in XSI for BF1 will not be released until the mod tools for BF2 come out.

Oh, and one last thing. All custom player units were removed in this version, as the filesize was really starting to grow.

Looks so peaceful and tranquil....... With kicking new vechicles it just makes me sooo anxious for the next release.
PS: I also saw KASHYYYK:VILLAGE, the walker is awsome!
Also the only vechicle that needs work is the Jedi Interceptor, R2 looks weird otherwise can't wait!

R2 looks like that in SWBF2 as well. I always hated that, but amazing anyway, Teancum!

Hey, I just noticed that! I saw it on a space battle loading screen and on the drivable one.

I think i made the ARC gunship's skin, if im not mistaken... i did one that looks like that one... but my skin wasn't in sef's mod (at least not with my consent as far as i can remeber [unless u were that dude that created a topic to ask for it]) it was in delta_57_dash's...

It was delta_57_dash's but hooked up the weapons and made it's lasers and beams blue.

everything looks great Tean'! You might want to fix the ARC gunship skin a little though. (under engines, it's red when it's suppose to be... er... blue?)

Yea, the skin has some problems (the mout guns are gray... they should be red and others) so u can fix them if u want... or maybe i could do it...
