DarthDeathRow, I have found a few threads - Hosted on Servers different from those used by GameToast - which seem to deal with the same "Technical Issue" you are actually facing...
Therefore, maybe viewing the following ones may bring you the responses you need ?

This have happened to me before when I tried to play KOTOR 2 on my old computer. Black screen but there's music. Trying updating to the most recent drivers, or you might have to get a new vid card.
