Pandemic tool hates my model (again...)

i had so often prolems with the pandemic tool but i somehow got them solve
i dont know what to do this time
i made an animated prop (enveloped to 54 bones) i can export animations and the basepose without problems but XSI always crashes when i want to export the model itself.
i tried everything:
-selecting the model>extract polygons>reenvelope>crash
-export the model as obj>reimport>reenvelope>crash
-export as dotxsi>import in new scene>crash
-export as model>import into new scene>crash

even when i dont envelope it it crashes allways during the export, i only got it exported when i imported it as obj in a new scene and didnt reenvelope

another problem is that i can reapply the enveloping (envelope>STRG+E>load preset) to the extracted-polygons or obj-import models.....

does anybody know how the problem can be solved?

Perhaps it is an enveloping bone limit, try this and yes I know it won't be correct try to either envelope to less bones but keep the bone count the same or reduce the number of bones and envelope to that. You currently have 54 try doing 50 or even 45.

On the object import thing it is possible it has dual points for some of the vertices, try selecting all points and do a filter points with the number in the pop up window set to 0.001.
It is also possible that with the export import thing the vertex number reference how ever they do it is getting changed for what the saved evelope information has.

but the exporter even crashes when the model is not enveloped

If you want you can send it to me and I can see if it hates me too or if it is just you it doesn't like although I can't see why you are a nice enough guy. :D

When you tried exporting it without enveloping does that mean you tried exporting just the geometry alone and it still crashed?
If so then the exporter is more than likely choking on the model.
Is the geometry complex (high poly)?

it has only 2200 polys

exporting the geometry alone works now (atleast often)
i imported the obj in a fresh scene, and set up an easy skeleton (one bone) and enveloping the moel to the bones but it crashes in the export either when exporting the effector or the model >.<

It's hard to say what the problem is without seeing the scene or knowing how you set it up since there are numerous factors involved.
Have you tried exporting it with Ignore Warnings unchecked in the exporter window to see if you get any?

I tried it with a new set of bones, only 15 of the mind you and no leg bones and it exported fine.
It may have something to do with the up vectors or other constrains you have, unless you have tried it with out them and it still crashed.

He is a though but it may be a bit of work, try replacing the bones with nulls and envelope to that. Also did you try running the animation munge yet and if so did that work?
