Would it be better to have fighters/no fighters in my map?

I am currently working on the Invisble hand aka the Grevious Flagship. Would it be cooler/more fun to have some jedi starfighters and Vulture droids chasing each other? (This map will mainly be the INSIDE of the flagship so the outside might look very crappy....)

I think the starfighters, if put in to this lvl, would be about as useful as the vehicles in Yavin: Arena. also there would be no good spot for the jedi starfighters to start without having to make another ship.

oops. I meant fighters as in the phantoms. u know, the ones that appear and dissapear like on geonosis

sounds very good. Adds to the "realism" of the battle. I think you should give it a shot.

yeah, and then make the "speed" of the fighters move VERY fast. hey, can you also add some Xplosions in the background too? just some pop-ups :wink: THAT would be cool :P I'm ALL excited with this map now, lol

hm... in order to do all this it totals up to about 13 THIRTEEN CP's lol

hey, isnt 13 CP's TOO many??? you SHOULD create a huge map with LOTS of CP's. I'd bet you could use 5 or 6 of them instead, OR ELSE the map MAY cause lagging - just so you know :wink: and with 13 CP's, then the Ticket count would went CRAZY!!! :twisted: so just use the 5 most important, ok??? the CP's DOESNT have to have ANYTHING to the fighters outside/background efects/side effects.

hm... i can try to lower it... but here's the list of CP's if it ends up on 13.

Portside Boarding (can be cut out)
StarBoard Boarding (Can be cut out)
Starboard Engine (Destructable CP)
Portside Engine (DCP)
Main Reactor Engine (DCP)
Command Bridge
Greviou's Quarter's
Starboard Thermal Exhaust
Portside Thermal Exhaust
Hangar

And the other 3 is going to be 3 rep assault ships for the fighters to take off from and for the gunhsips to start.
