I love it when trustworthy employees leak stuff(I.E. BF3 Footage). I am not joking, I find it hysterical. Nice trailer, I wonder when/if LF will release it officially.

I'm fairly certain that Dave Feloni confirmed that Ackbar is the speaking Mon Calamari in the original Season 4 Preview.

I dunno what u think, but for me it's kinda strange that the Phase I clone troopers get mixed up with the Phase II (ARC-)clone troopers. Of course u gotta take into account, that it's a star wars series for lil children, but I'm wondering if that what the kids see on TV ain't hokin up the ideals and the image of the original star wars, like they get a completely wrong imagination of that what star wars really wants to convey to them. Or am I exeggerating?

I think you are totally right, I also think Clone Wars makes little kids think a different way of star wars. They are like: "OMG Ahsoka and Captain Rex are the coolest", without ever seen the original trilogy...
And yes you are also right about the mixing up thingys, Clone Wars is to much mixed... "Some cool stuff there and some cool stuff there, who cares about if it does'nt fit in to the story line of the real movies".
That's the bad thing about clone wars, it does'nt exactly follow the original storyline and adds to much new stuff... IMO

I watched it... a couple times...

My thoughts are,
The Phase 2 clones look great in TCW (I will miss my favorite though, phase 1), 501st in phase 2 look nice, Rex is awesome, Wolffe still remains my favorite, Fives is back, and he seems to have gotten a friend who is a bit gun happy, C3PO and R2 come across some fraken awesome aliens, Fives is back, yeah, I mentioned it before but its fives, ya know, Battle Of Mon Calamari will be big, they pulled out all the stops, padme, anakin, ahsoka, kit fisto, are all there. Ahsoka looks bad(removed) in scuba gear, Kit Fisto will get to kick some droid butt without a shirt, old tartakovsky fans will like that. New planets, new aliens, more Wolfpack, more Wolffe, more Padme, more Ahsoka, Gungans fighting Grievous, more Classic battles, more large scale battles.

What more could you ask for? Season 4 will be just as awesome as all the previous seasons. I loved 1-3, there is no doubt I will love 4.

Its your opinion, thats fine, I just dont want to hear it here, when this thread is for fans to talk about the next season, not to hear the haters rag on it. And Herrmann, the reason why you see phase 1.5, not even full phase 2 ARC troopers is because the armor was brand new and the ARCs get the newest and best armor.

So what if kids are like "Ahsoka and Captain Rex are the coolest!"? Back in 1977, it was "Luke and Han solo are the coolest!".

Times change, people change, movies change. I am an avid fan of the original movies, I am also an avid fan of TCW. A lot of young kids start out with TCW nowadays, but then move on to exploring the rest of the star wars universe when they get older, thats just how it works. I as a young person, still 17 till the 27th, can speak for the fans my age. At my age, TCW is still great, but I still love ANH, ESB, and ROTJ way more.

I am so sick of the haters, always attacking the ewoks, Jar Jar, and now TCW and Ahsoka. It wears me thin. But thats the Internet for you, give people anonymity, and an audience and they will speak their mind as loud as they can.

Not to burst your bubble, but this isn't an "I love TCW" thread, so why should they have to start an "I hate TCW" thread? It's the point of General Discussion, some people have varying thoughts and opinions. You can't just tell them not to post here simply because they don't share your opinion completely.

They gave valid reasoning with explanation as to why the show rubbed them the wrong way, and quite frankly, they make a point. It's not like they be trollin' by just saying "dis sux lawl". They don't even say they dislike the show. But you have to admit, it does kind of drift away from the magic of the original trilogy.

No bubble is being burst, it is simply a request to not talk about why you dont like the show here. This is a thread to talk about specifically, the 4th season on TCW, so in my mind, thats what should be talked about. If there was a general, lets talk TCW Thread, I would understand. But its not, for one thing, how can you say how you dont like a series, on a thread for a season that isn't out yet?

I never said they were trolling, for I didnt think they were. But in my mind, I do not agree with their assessment of TCW and how it has affected the fans. They fail to realize how many more fans got brought into the whole world of star wars thanks to TCW, and also thanks to TCW, it is considered socially cool for a girl to like star wars now. I was talking to a friend of mine, and she showed me how much it has changed in the past few years. She got into star wars thanks to TCW, and her favorite movies are ESB and ROTJ.

And no, I do not agree that TCW is getting away from the magic of the original trilogy, matter of fact, I think TCW is doing a better job recreating that magic than the prequels did.

I ain't a hater. Its just my opinion that they should keep the clone wars as close to the original storyline as possible. But I did like the two clone wars movies.( the cartoons)

It isn't just the show, Ashley Eckstein has come out with AFAIK the first lineup of star wars themed clothes just for girls. Girls often are looked as weird for liking things guys like, Star Wars for example. Take Gametoast for example, its 97% guys here for sure, because only guys like SWBF2, or at least for the most part. However, The Clone Wars is modern, and socially acceptable to like, before The Clone Wars it was often seen as odd or weird that a girl liked Star Wars, and more often deterred girls from liking it. Where am I getting these impressions one might ask? Well, I am not basing my thought on what I see from the Internet, I am basing it upon my friends. The age range of my friends is 14-17. It is so ingrained in our society what girls and boys are supposed to like, guys are suppose to like cars, guns and other "manly" stuff, while girls are supposed to like barbies and other "girly" stuff. Often in our society when a guy likes something only a girl is supposed to like, or vice versa they are downcast in school and among friends. Personally I will enjoy the day when it doesn't matter what you like depending on your gender.

Long story short, did TCW change our society in large? No, it would take a lot more than just a TV show to do that, but it did help in this one small field.

And there were plenty of Star Wars merchandise and products aimed at girls before TCW. I'm going to stop the argument here since there are so many factors to consider to even accept these generalizations. Nah, kidding. Sort of. I felt the same way previously, untill recently this girl hit on me, and started talking about videogames and stabbing people in the neck in said videogames. Turned me off.

As for my opinion on TCW S4: I wish Lucas would stop milking and abusing the franchise already. Then again, as long as it sells, I can't blame him. Or, not entirely.
