As Mav is allowing you to do it, I think you should carry on, and I think in the long term it will serve the community well. If there's one reliable place for the archive it will make maps a lot easier to find, and update.

I say as long as Mav is cool with it, bugger em, lets keep at it, but i am really busy right know so its hard to work on this, i am working on a big list of as many maps as i can think of

I've gotten to the point where it's exasperating dealing with some of the more emotional criticisms I'm getting for starting this Catalog. (Not referring to the last 7 people who posted.)

So, you know what? You've got it! No more Catalog, I'm calling it off! I've tried to persuade you to keep the Catalog running because it's good for Gametoast, but you don't back down! I've tried indirectly to say "thanks, but no thanks" but you don't back down! You push and push and push your opinion to the point where there's no point fighting it, so fine! You've won! You've made my and THEWULFMAN's lives easier! Metaphorically, you've just shot down a baby to save the parents the trouble of raising it to be an adult! Hope you're happy!
(If you couldn't spot the metaphor, the baby is this Catalog which is not more than a week old and some of you stopped it from becoming an adult or be useful. Does it need to be any simpler than that?)

And if there's one thing some of you should know, it's that

I knew what you were saying: close up the thread because it's a waste of my time. However, how you said it was, quite frankly, rude. On top of that, some of you continued to push, while trying to make me look dumb/childish for not listening to your advice. Thanks for the advice, but that's all it is, it's not a court order or an instruction by your supervisor. It's advice.

So, to summarize, you guys won through persistence and arrogance! Congrats! I lost, you won, you guys are superior, we shall bow down to you! Enjoy your victory, Kings/Queens!
