it depens on what you did befor you got these errors ;)

Error1: BFII cannot find a core.lvl

Error2: BFII cannot find a common.lvl

Error3: BFII cannot find a shell.lvl

Error4: BFII cannot find a script named shell_interface

Does the Errors come when you tryed to open an special map/mod or in general at BFII start?? Did you made a custom Mod or map, or did you installed a custom mod/map.

The Thread name In need of more help!!! and these Errors don't specify the Problem clearly

well I think I found the problem. I had made a map before with the same name and messed up pretty bad. So I deleted the file data_*** and found that my mod map name was still in instant action. I am supposed to go to compatibility files in my addon folder but I have Win 8 and can't find that button. Anyone know where it is?

EDIT
Ok So I did some searching on the internet and found how to get to the old data_*** folder and I deleted it. Now I can successfully make a new map without the game crashing. If you have a problem deleting your old map name from BF2, contact me. :google:
