I figured, "Hey, I didn't post a skin here in awhile." So, I decided...I'd post my recent skin as of a few minutes ago. Didn't take too long. Half an hour maybe. It isn't a complicated one, but I made an SWG Swamptrooper. I made it as accurate as possible with what I had at my disposal, as this computer can't play SWBF2 without problems due to my video card having fried awhile back (it's complicated...I don't really want to go into it.).
....anyways, my rambling aside, I present to you, my latest work. I am a little more proud of it than previous skins even though it didn't take much of anything to do it.
Comparison?
Thoughts? It wasn't too complicated. It didn't take long. And I analyzed every part thoroughly on the model/texture as much as I could. This is as close as I can get without getting textures from scratch.
Note, the darker shade of boots before the lighter one was before I applied the lighter-shade to coincide with the original screenshot.

Dude post a full-body pic so we can give better views.
My first say though is that his abdomen segment and pouches are a little more darker shade of green(ref pic, if u get my gist, round the lower torso)

Ok. I'll post a body pic. I meant to get one, but I was tired. I made that at like 3 AM. lol Nice work, Labj, btw!
And considering the SWG model/texture I'm attempting at reskinning is a little off at some parts, other than those things - comments?
Considering I haven't skinned for BF2 in a few months due to inactivity and me having to reinstall Photoshop?
And I'm getting a full body pic as we type (e-form of speak obviously unless we all here were talking into microphones at each other. lol)
PS- Also gonna attempt putting a little swamp muck stuff on his boots. Not overwhelming amounts, but a little bit. Either that, or mud...or a little of both. I'm gonna make a backup before I dirty him up a little bit.
Edit- Update!
This is my first time trying to experiment with dirtying up armor a little. Icemember said he liked it. And Tricorder at the Filefront SWBF2 Modding Forums liked it. So, it must be decent for a first try at the very least.

The color is fine, the bf2 model is sightly different, specialy on the head, but it looks that you colored the cloth too... you should select only the white areas, everything else is very good, specialy the dirt on the feet.

I got it done. I hope this is somewhat....better.
It's that this monitor is darker than a lot of other people's monitors here. That is why it appeared to be black, rather than slightly green.

Now it is better, but the cloth is lighter now, you can darken it a bit, and the skin should be perfect

Yep. Just takes a bit of tweaking until a skin is final, eh?
I found to do that easily by going to 'select' and then 'color range', and using that to select all the dark desaturated parts and then made them darker.
Edit-

That is very nice, Labj! I love the color scheme of the entire 7th. That's like, my favorite shade of brown.
Anyways, if anyone wants some requests, lemme know. Otherwise, I'm gonna make some more 514th Legion skins. (Imperial Katarn armor scheme aka Kashyyyk Pattern, but can be used for anything, really).

Very nice variety of assassins there, Labj. Do all the complete legions you make have a purpose?

His torso seems to have a pattern that can be mistaken for a UVing problem.

The uv in his torso is like pulled, yes
