How to put an automatic door in your map?

Hi, I've searched all around GT, and so far the only tuts I've found are making a CUSTOM door in XSI and making custom animations in XSI. I don't really want a custom door, I just want to know how to add a stock door to my map. How do you do this?

Same as you would with any other placeable prop. Just make sure you have the appropriate MSH, ODF, and animation files (goes in the Munged folder by the way) for the stock door of your choice.

No, it does not need to be in a separate layer. It can, however, just like any other placeable prop.

Hmm, do you have to load the correct world's sound file to get the door's sound though? Not sure... for example, load sound from dea if using blast doors.

That would be right, I used the sounds from Tantive IV for the door sounds, although I used the Polis Massa doors, they used the same sound.
