So I read some crazy theory as to how TFU2 is going to go, based on the trailer.

Apparently, Starkiller is in limbo, between life and death. The arena is basically purgatory. The conflicting voices of Yoda and Vader are fighting the decision of either choosing Light or Dark, and Juno's voice sets the idea that he goes for the Light. Then he comes back and kicks butt?

Interesting idea, although I don't know why he would wind up fighting a giant rancor-tossing monster in that situation.

Vader, surprised by Starkiller's turn, uses his remains to clone Starkiller on Kamino, more powerful than before but also much more obedient to Vader. Vader makes Starkiller aware of his nature as a Jedi Clone. However, during some scientific experiments, Galen's memories come to him, and he breaks out of his cell in Kamino, and all Diet Dr. Pepper breaks loose on the platforms of Kamino (when is that new?).

The arena we see in the trailer is apparently Cato Neimodia. And the official website has updated with a Dagobah background, meaning we'll probably see Yoda in the game as the trailer suggests. Whether Kota, Juno and co will return remains to be seen.

I hope they can use this oppurtunity to elaborate a bit more on a few things that may not even relate to the first Force Unleashed, like the Uprising that occured just a few yers before. They could even tie it into an experiment for Palpatine's clones.

Yep, that's right, that means that the ending of TFU was entirely pointless.

To be honest, I'm offended by the repeated use of this stupid plot device, I feel like they are insulting my intelligence.

Agreed - they're going to have to put a lot of emotion/epic-ness into the whole Kamino clone thing to get me to take the whole clone thing again. I got sooooo sick of all the emperor clones.

I guess I havent read enough EU, but any way to bring back a character that you know is 100% dead annoys me. The Jango clones I am ok with though. They werent used to cheat death, but for a quick built army. No clone ever replaced Jango.

I always think of them as different identities. Not one was made to keep the other identity around.

Jango intended Boba as a son, not a replacement so I'm not sure if that really counts.
