KOTOR2 problem help

when im playing the game ill be happy playin along niclly and for
no apparent reason the whole computer swithches off and i mean it shuts
its self doen as if the plug has been pulled out i know its sommet to do with the game
because none of my other games such swbf2,swEAW AND CALL OF DUTY 2 they
never crash my pc ?
ive tryed evrything plz plz help i well wanna play it
can some PM me if they have my solution to my problem
plz guys desperate got it for crimbo and it wont freakin work help plz

There could be a problem with overheating, but this doesn't seem to fit your description. There could also be a loop that causes the crash, or there could be a hardware related short.

Computers have settings that force a shutdown to prevent damage to your computer, which make me think overheating or an eternal looping error. (both of which I have experienced first hand)

Try running the program in compatibility mode for an older operating system, that might fix it.

Ya check if your fan is running when you turn on your computer. My fan died and my computer would shut down just after starting SWBF2.

yhe me specs deffinatlly check i recon its what you guys said it could be the fan cos when i boot up theirs a stange grindin sort of noise but it doent crash on swbf2 is it posible that kotor 2 takes more comp usage then swbf2.
evan sent a report to lucas arts and they turned me doen you guys give me the best answer so far proberlly have to replace then fan or sommet

if thats the swconfig file yeh i did that when i first got it i evan borrowed my m8's copy and his crashed on my pc
