Questions on splines and captial stikes

Hi. I am new to swbf2 modding and i am currently working on a pretty good forest map. It is my first map and i have been putting a lot of time into it and i have some questions. 1. How do I set the splines for the flyers on my land map because the documentations in the ModTools is not very helpful. 2. Hoe do I place a captial ship on my map because when I browse for ships to place from the Space_Template folder I get a message saying "could not open/find all_cap_rebelcruiser." PLEASE HELP! :jango:

1) The flyer splines are paths. Go to the base level, select "Paths", then create a new path. Name it entitypath all (or if it's Republic, then rep, Separatist cis, Empire imp) and place a couple nodes. Make sure the name of the entitypath matches the one in your flyer's ODF.
2) Create a new space map and copy the ODF, MSH, and effects folders to the counterpart in your map. More instructions can be found on this site.

Or copy everything from the Space Template.

Well, you could always delete the space map after you're done copying, or reuse it - use it as a "sandbox" for testing objects, scripts, etc.

fiodies was talking about the actual files you copy to your map and you dont use (thesnyder only want the capital ships) which are still munged and increase the filesize unnecessary

No, I think what DarthD.U.C.K. meant was only copy over to your map's folders the ships you're going to use. Stuff you're not going to use, don't bother transferring them.
