Why Won't Screenshots Work? [Solved]
Umm... I did a search on how to take screenshots and I found that holding prntsc for 2 seconds saved a screenshot to a folder in your Battlefront II folder or your GameData folder, depending on who said it. I don't have a folder called "ScreenShots" in either one, so I made a new folder called ScreenShots in both folders. Then when I tried it in game I tried pressing and holding and just pressing, but when I exited the game there was no screenshot. Could someone please help

Running Vista or 7? Try checking in the AppData area, where maps can be munged to.
If you don't understand, the directory is probably
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData

Re: Why Won't Screenshots Work?
you could use x-fire. The key is scroll lock + S by default. It isnt too bad. I dont know how to help you with the print screen though.

Re: Why Won't Screenshots Work?
*Finally decides it's time to get xfire*
Ok, I'll try that tomorrow!
EDIT:
Sorry for the noob question, but I don't know much about computers, so anyway, where is scroll lock??
EDIT2:
Never mind, I found it, but when I go ingame and press scroll lock and s nothing happens. What do I have to do with xfire to get it to work? Also when I start xfire it just shows a auto updade window that literally does nothing, I checked in task manager it said it was using 0 CPU and I can't get past it. Please help
EDIT3:
Actually I just downloaded xfire off of xfire.com and installed it over the xfire that came with Battlefront so... yeah. it works now.

Incase you still want to know:Cleb wrote:Yes, I have Windows 7. The AppData folder exists in the Users\[username]\ folder, but I can't see it. Can anyone tell me how I can veiw it?

-Hold windows key and press "r"
-window will pop up and you give in:
C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData
or
C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData
if you have 32 bit.
-then press ok and tada, there it is :amidala:
(the folder is hidden on some PCs so users don't mess anything up and there is a way to unlock them but I'd advise you to to it that way rather than changing anything around with the system folders)

Re: Why Won't Screenshots Work?
Wow it worked all of my mod maps addon folders are there and the screenshots too lol...And my BFront2 log! Yes!AcaelusThorne wrote:-Hold windows key and press "r"

EDIT:
Ok I just figured out how to show hidden folders. On Windows 7 open the file window, and click on help. Search "show hidden files" and click on "show hidden files" and follow the directions. Now the hidden folders appear and are selectable and you know it was hidden because it is paler than folders that weren't previously hidden.
Soooo.....yeah.

Your welcome
I knew the "show hidden files" thing but it doesn't work on all PCs (on my laptop for example it is locked by samsung/company that installed windows on it :/ )
