Trouble with ZeroEditor using Windows7

I've been wanting to make a new map, but ZeroEditor crashes in Windows7. Does anyone know, or have, a fix for this problem. To compound the problem, I use Best of PC. I tried the BoPC fix, but that doesn't help.
Thanks in advance for any input.

Well, I'm almost totally new to PC. I've been using Mac my whole life.
Is 3DAnalyzer a free program? I'll try it if it is.
Yeah, I'm going to need some rather basic instruction for this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I just got windows 7 and parallels so I can now use my MacPro as a PC or a Mac. And I've never made a map before. When I try to get ZeroEditor open, it crashes on start. I heard that others with Windows 7 have the same problem. But I haven't heard of anyone solving it yet. Not at all sure what the problem actually is. But it's likely something like a registry issue, or something simple like that. But the BoPC registry fix didn't work. I wish I had an old version of XP, that would make the whole issue moot. But alas I'm stuck with win7.
