This got pretty good reviews, and apparently isn't really an action movie at all.

*AHEM*
Does anybody remember the Super Mario Bros. movie?
Yeah.
Moriarty only appeared once in the stories, so I'm not exactly surprised nor disappointed that he's not in the movie.Grev wrote: I was especially upset by the main villain not being Dr. Moriarty.
But that was also to Doyle one of Sherlocks greatest adventures, and it was my favorite as well. And moriarty is a character who doesn't have to be invented anew and who has and could easily be given a stronger back story.Ping wrote:Moriarty only appeared once in the stories, so I'm not exactly surprised nor disappointed that he's not in the movie.Grev wrote: I was especially upset by the main villain not being Dr. Moriarty.
Lord Blackwood, although Moriarty is in the film as well, and by the sound of the film's ending there may be a sequel which would most likely star Moriarty as the villain.DarthHamster wrote:Has anyone seen the movie? Who is the antagonist?
I'm not sure if you watch this show at all, but if you do, did the movie remind you a bit of CSI?Maveritchell wrote:Having seen the movie, it actually surprised me a lot. The trailers sold it much more as a dumb movie than it was - it wasn't pure Holmes, but it was enjoyable and a fun movie.

Just came home from the theater, and it was a very fun and entertaining film. I would simply plaguarize Mav, but instead: QFTMaveritchell wrote:Having seen the movie, it actually surprised me a lot.
