Hey folks! No updates this time around, just a coupla questions:

- I'm having the darndest time with glass and transparency. I'm using the shipped cor1_bldg_window.tga (for now), but even with that and the transparency flag at 1, it doesn't work.

- I read in one of Vyse's threads that he got custom music in, but not in a "amb_start, amB_middle, amb_end" sense. Is that possible?

Check the textures alpha channel. White is full opaque, black is full transparency. Also, try transparency set to 2, especially if you can see both sides of the window.

@ Bac-Talan- Oh, lol. The gun was a remnant of my weapon tests from awhile back. The only way to have 2 different sabers was to have a gun as th eprimary weapon. It'll be gone come release time.

Congrats Koolaid7g! the project moves forward! hurray for progress :wink: Now I know how much people hate this question and ones like it but... is there a relese date-ish time yet? and yes I know its done when its done :P
but you dont have to answer that.

Instead of having Obi-Wan as a hero, you should get the Qui Gon from the conversion pack, and Obi-Wan as one of those characters that require points! Just a suggestion.

Right now I'm beginning to contemplate releasing a beta as soon as the modeling is done. When that happens, I will let you know, in addition to my decision.

Progress update!

The Hangar has its abre essentials and I've moved on to the generator room. I'll post screenies when it starts to resemble something!

The only thing I don't like yet is the floor texture of the hangar.I know, it's accurate to the movie, but something...just doesn't feel right.

Never mind, let's look how this is in the beta. If nobody notices it, I had a hallucination.

Reminds of the other Theed mod map that was in planning somewhere in time. Wasn't it LordBandu who made it ?

Anyway, looks fine, but a bit pixeld - are you using 800x600 ?

Yes, Bandu was at one time working on a Duel of the Fates map before he left. The only reason that his map and mine look similar is becasue we both are making ( or made, in his case) our maps based off the movie. Yes it is familiar, but only becasue you saw it in Ep. 1 first.

I took the shot from a 1024 x 768 resolution and heavily cropped it using a photo edit program.
