Gamerz is proud to announce a Melee Master Event,
beginning the Fourth of July at 8 PM eastern.
This is a Hero Assault standard game team-based event where players are
assigned to two different teams, and play back-to-back rounds on various
123+ 2.2 mod maps.

8 maps, 4 Force mode rounds and 4 No force Block on rounds.
It goes 2 No force rounds, each 1 a different map and the teams switch side
every time the map ends. So for example, Team A starts as Heroes and the map is Utapau.
Team A switchs to villains when the map changes to say Geonosis.
Then the next map has Team A as Heroes, with Force on, on Naboo, etc.

The winner is determined at the end of the 8 maps, who has the highest score, tallied from
each map added together. TKs will count against your score.

Any and ALL persons are invited to join, provided you maintain a few simple rules throughout the event.
1: No cursing in chat or teamspeak. PG-13 Tv language is the standard, with more vulgar words removed.
2: No cheating/glitching or intentional steal kills. Play like a team and win, but playing for yourself won't get you far.
3: We encourage all participants to enter our Teamspeak so you can hear everything important to the event, your team your on, the side you'll be, etc.

Yes. If only there were a map that did just that.

You know, I think 7/4 is a bad day to have this sort of competition because some, if not most, gamers will be on vacation, celebrating with family, etc. I know I'll be in Vermont this weekend, with no computer. Its kind of like having an Easter egg hunt the Saturday before, because everyone will be with family that Sunday.

As much as I would love to be at this game, I can't. And I'm throwing up the above, well... nah I'm just rambling .

I'll try to join. But I might be busy, eating chicken while playing bingo at mah swim club, after barfing up the Faygo I had in my soda pop relay this morning. Don't ask. Let's just say I chugged THAT MUCH of their worst flavor.

I wish i would be around for this event although sailing around the florida keys area and most likely seeing fireworks from a sailboat during a sunset or later still is pretty nice i guess

You know that there are fireworks on Naboo. You have to shoot at this square on the map across the lake between the two buildings directly across from CP 1 with a rocket.

No, there aren't. I just spent 10 minutes testing that because I had nothing better to do ( )
If there honestly and truly are and you think I'm doing something wrong, could we see a vid of it?
EDIT: Oh, nvm. You're right. Rockets didn't work for me, though. You have to kill a plant, like in Frag's map. I had to force choke it as Anakin.

Well shooting that spot with a rocket works in the PS2 version.

BTW, Metalcore, when you say 9 eastern, does that mean morning or night?

probably night since nobody is really on that early in the morning, and conflicts with church.
