Force Unleashed Updates... and PC!

LucasArts announced at today's Star Wars Spectacular panel new downloadable content for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed that will take players to Tattooine, meeting characters like Boba Fett and Obi-wan Kenobi. It also revealed a new Ultimate Sith Edition re-release.
The new content will have players once again assuming the role of the Secret Apprentice from The Force Unleashed, now serving the Emperor and tasked with eliminating the few remaining Jedi—Obi-Wan and Skywalker, for example—altering the established Star Wars story line further. The DLC's trailer posed the question "What if the dark side won?"
(Warning, spoilers ahead!)
The trailer showed scenes of Starkiller in his Sith Stalker armor, which players of The Force Unleashed will recognize if they chose to kill Darth Vader at the end of the original game's story line. Starkiller was featured in battles with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker in the Hoth hangar base and Boba Fett at Jabba's Palace on Tattooine.
LucasArts will also release Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition during the Holiday 2009 season, a special edition of the game for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 featuring the original title and the already available downloadable content, plus an exclusive level on Hoth, where the confrontation between Starkiller and Skywalker takes place.
The publisher also has plans for PC and Mac versions of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed planned for later this year.

Just read it, sounds interesting, but they leave us Wii users with our stock Force Unleashed games....
Maybe I'll buy if for PC if its modable, which seems unlikely at this point.

Sounds interesting. If it's true that there's going to be a Mac version I might go ahead and buy it since there's no chance on Earth that my PC could run it (unless I'd have to update my Mac - I'll just have to wait to see the system requirements).

If its similar to the Wii version, it shouldn't take too much to run it, I doubt lucasarts would release a game that only highend computers could run.
They'll probably tone down the PC version.

I don't think so. A reasonable computer should be able to run graphics at Xbox 360 level. Also, LucasArts developed the game for the 360 and PS3. Why would they pay a different developer to make the graphics worse when a computer can handle what they already developed?
Plus, I remember see the Wii version after playing it a bit on someone's 360, and I was mortified at the graphics level.

I just saw this on MPCGamers forum. This is a welcome surprise for all those die hard PC gamers like me. I could never get my head around the console controllers.

Well then, once this is all released and I have my 360 hooked up to the interwebs, then I'll probably end up with TFU on three systems, lol.

I heard about this elsewhere first. I already have the Wii version, but like it was said earlier in the thread, the graphics aren't great at all. It almost ruins it in a way. It's a fun game, but the graphics really bring it down. I would be willing to purchase this for the PC- it sounds more exciting. HOWEVER, if it's only a PS2/Wii port, I'm not buying. It needs to be at least 360/PS3 level graphics, and hopefully their physics engine with it.
That being said, if it lives up to my expectations, I look forward to it!

Oh, [Diet Doctor Pepper]. I have TFU for the Wii, and I'm really frustrated and disappointed that the Wii can't seem to download all this stuff. Can't have everything, I suppose.

really wish the Wii could download extra content, World at War just doesn't seem right without zombies..
But on a happier note, this does look awesome!
