On the index page there are several statistics at the bottom which can be fun to read when you're board. Last night however it read 10,000 topics and right now it reads 9,875 or something like that. Why is it?

We're pruning out old locked and pointless topics. It helps the database run faster, plus keeps things clean. Nothing to worry about.

Well, it's a good thing that we're very serious about the fact that posts counts do not matter here then.
