need help on install so i can make a map

OK NEED HELP What DO I ACTUALLY INSTALL SO I CAN MAke a map???
You guys give me some good info but i cant figure out what to install and everything i install it needs something else so please give me a list of the things i need to install where to put them(as they will be ziped you have to extract them somewhere)

what do you mean? what do you need to install out of the mod tools .zip folder? Well thats easy ALL of it, just extract it to some place on your hard disk (make sure all the directory has NO spaces in it)
Are you asking what to get to dl to make maps? the Mod tools found at filefront or here

umm i dl all the files except 1 of them b/c they did not work just wated to tell ya 1 of em is broke wasn't sure if ya knew or not

Are you actually downloading the whole 420MB package or just the 14 mod tools in the download area??? Download unsupported_swbf_mod_tools.zip (several places have it) unzip to any folder (as long as the name has no spaces) click on bfbuilder and you've got a basic map template. Read the documentation that comes with it... really it's very easy.. persevere!

i was dling the 14 mod tools i didn't know about the 420 MB package but i'll keep looking

ok thank you everyone i think i have it now i search google for unsupported_swbf_mod_tools.zip and i think this is what i needed thank you everyone for your help
