New Sound files

Where can I find new sound files for guns? I tried a google search, but all i came up with were a few sites that you either had to pay to use, or you could only listen to the sounds.

I don't know if it would be legal but if you can listen to them, you can record them. Or record from other movies/games... But as I said I don't know if it would be legal...

^It probably is legal since gun shot sounds aren't copyrighted.

True, however the game is. You would probably need to read the liscence agreement to see whether or not it is. But I would agree with AQT.

Keep it in small pieces, credit your original source, and don't redistribute it for profit (monetary or otherwise). Stick to those and you're A-OK.

So then I can use the sounds that I extracted from eaw?
