Another noobish question

Post by Phyzzle »

You know specific hero's animations, is it possible to edit and change them for example Plo Koon uses luke's animation I think but is it possible to completely create an original one?

Again, probably a really dumb question... meh. :D

You can change them, and in theory, you can make new anims. But thats really really really hard and I don't think anyone on GT could do it :P

Or so I have heard hehe

change what animations are use when and where, edit the .combo, to swap a combo with another one, edit the lightsabers .odf (units .odf must have the same animations or it will crash). to change the animation that a unit uses, edit the .odf and change the anim call.

@Penguin Do you mean that a unit and it's lightsaber must have the same animation, like obiwan animation and have the obiwan combo? 'Cause if that's what you mean, I know of several instances where separate ones have been used. Plokoon for example uses luke's animations, but his own combo.

If no specific animation is listed in the unit's .odf file, it'll automaticlly load the Luke animation for any melee weapon.

If Plo has his own .combo, then it's a combo made using Luke's animations. You can change combos around so that they look different, but use the same animations.
