I don't know about greener, but maybe darker. I actually like the empty and desolate look of the map; it kind of resembles a map I was planning on making sometime down the road.

I'd think any direction from here would be nice. The lighting could be improved however you turned, because there really doesn't seem to be much atmosphere (due too the lack of interesting lighting that this map could house). However since I see what you are aiming for, darker would be better.

Nice. Did you skin Hraku yourself? I remember Hero_Unit made a Neimodian Jedi that looked a lot like that. But he was green, with brown robes, if I remember right.

Really nice! But will you be adding any vehicles from the Convo Pack? Like for instance that walker in the Clone Wars (I forget the name), the Millennium Falcon, K-wing, and Rebel Combat Speeder? And mind if I ask how many maps are going to be in here?

@Nova: Thanks, and to answer your questions:

Maps - As many as possible, from as many people as possible. However, limit (doubt we'll get close to it) I'd say would be around 16 (counting all three space maps as one cos only difference is layout and sky.)

Vehicles - All stock BF2 vehicles (custom weapons of course) plus:
Dwarf Spider
K-wing (rebel gunship)
B-Wing (rebel heavy fighter)
Hovernaut
Ranch Speeder (reskinned rebel combatspeeder, used by natives on Cyanus)
TIE-Defender (imperial heavy fighter)
MAF (probably)

I tried to make a Lambda-Shuttle once and had problems with getting it ingame, it would be awesome if someone would make it, however that thing is waaay too big to get out of a hangar. Without animated wings it would work, or if you scale it down, but in both cases it wouldnt make fun, just like sentinel-shuttle.

As for the space maps, I think it would be boring to have several copies of standard maps just with different sky so I suggest you adding Mav's space platform from his Abraxas assets, and perhaps some of his fighters like T-Wing or Z95. It will make your maps different from vanilla maps.
And i suggest you to make one space map with fighters (X-Wings and TIE-Fighters) only, or with fighters and interceptors only. It would be awesome to have a pure dogfighting map.
Also can you make TIE-Defender more powerful than the one Mav has done, ARC_Commander's version is a good example.

As for ground maps, it is your mod and you can do with it what you want, but still those skinned stormtroopers that are ment to represent different legions are not existing in SW-Universe and therefore I suggest you to either remove them completely, or make a map with all troopers having that skin. The second option will bring more variety in game and the sides will still make sense, cause its kinda senseless to have a couple of troopers from that legion, than a couple from another one in the same battle. Still its your decision.

Space maps: umm...they're not the standard space maps. There are three - Kadrala, Veriss, Tadornis. Kadrala is 1 vs 1 capital ships, lots of frigates of various kinds. Veriss is 2 vs 2 cap ships with less frigates, and Tadornis....is a surprise (all I'll say right now is it contains a work-around one of the game's limits. Not using Abraxas platform because it's not exactly a generic space station and therefore any space map with it in will look like Mav's Abraxas platform.
Stormtroopers: well it's not because they don't exst in SW universe (neither do most of these planets, I don't intend to remove them)...but because the skins always seem a little blurred (dunno why) they're being replaced with a troop from the convo pack (appearance wise, weaps are the same).

Ping; gave it to Null (best. mapper.ever*), dunno if he's working on it though (he's got a lot of WIPs).

Legion Update:
DEVISS-REX and Delta 1035 have very kindly contributed a legion each. DEVISS's is his white legion from Jabba's Palace of his mod, Delta's is a Phase I version of the 91st (ones on saulecami with neyo, for those who don't know). Both are very nice additions.


Beta Testing XGCW Space Info

Sides: XGCW space sides
Map: Space Kadrala
Mode: Assault Only
Bugs not to report: unlocalised weapons and ships.
Available in: 3-4 days, (depends how long b-wing + ion cannons take).

Responsibilities of Beta Testers:
You must do each of these to beta test.
Give lots of feedback. What you liked, what you didn't like, what you think needs to be tweaked for gameplay/aesthetic purposes (not things like 'add the millenium falcon'), difficulty, balance. This should be mainly about ships/map, not infantry (although feedback on them welcome too).
Report bugs. Apart from the ones mentioned above. Self explanatory, really.

PS. If someone does a really good job beta testing Space Kal I'll consider letting them beta other maps for this mod (even if they aren't a contributor) when the time comes.

Yep. I kind of let things get in the way, like my real opinion.

Oh and Grev: little favor to ask of you; for the main relase of this mod could you do the uploading (ie together the bits I send you). Know it didn't work out last time but this time I'll be organised.
