Smartness. Flyers would upset the gentle balance of the battle. With all those tons of soldiers stuffed onto one section of the bridge, all one would have to do would be let a couple of lasers flly to rack up the kills and rack down the reinforcements. Plus, there'd be no way of stopping them, unlike with the tanks. They just fly away like birdies.

So you finally have decided on a name for the project(which even is my brainchild. Incredible) - time to update the thread namel, isn't it?
Anyway, the loading screen looks very nice, though it's a bit empty. But as long as that's better in the remaining map...

by the way... the ash in the current Mygeeto seems to have the shape of snow, lol. Well, at least in the pictures you provided... maybe THAT's why people think it's snow. Ofcourse it's possible that the midichlorians just decided that they would take out their little scissors and cut snowflake's out of the ash... but that seems a bit...unlikely...

Oh I forgot to say that I really DO like how everything looks, btw.

Hmm, when you're actually fighting, you won't notice how the ash looks like, since the flakes move too fast and you are too busy evading blaster bolts. Sure, more accuracy is always desirable, but I'd rather fix noticeable problems like gaps between bridges or apparent lack of buildings.

huh? The ash really adds to the feel of the map.. (if i didn't put it in, it wouldn't have the Chaos, Mygeeto feel) I am placing more buildings around... but the bridges were almost impossible to line up.. they flicker at joint points... and they aren't lined up perfectly (did my best)
Today i had a munging problem, cause i "stopped" numerous munges... OOPS! -- but everything whas successful, after i reinstalled the tools

Well, if there's a difference between snow and ash people will only notice this on the screenies. But if there's a difference between snos/ash and nothing, people will instantly notice.
So I just wanted to say that having real ash instead of snow isn't that important.

I didn't know the difference

The grey background makes the snow look grey too
Nice Avi btw

LoL, thx, Now i see what you're saying Pulch.. but i still think the "snow" looks better than the ash

Every little detail counts

Well, if you want every little detail to count, you should use ash, since the original map and the "real" mygeeto were covered in ash. Don't worry, nobody will recognise this, since the flakes fall too fast and the player is busy fighting.

Maybe it would be cool to add both

I think it would look awesome!

I don't think it's possible... But i think the "ash" looks great how it is

Any one know if there is someplace i can get animations of soldiers fighting? (CW era obviously

) If i could that'd be awesome.. I made a topic in the modding forum btw

what you can do to simulate this is add a lot of locals, and make them fight on the other bridges. The locals of course are the republic and the cis, but in diferent teams. The cps needed for them to spawn wouldn't count as objectives for conquest, so you would see the cps on the minimap, but they would be a "no-need-to-capture" cps.
EDIT: YAY DATIS MAI SEHKOND POZT!!!
And I replied it

Map may look good, but what I think is that gameplay might not be so good. If you look on bridge, there arent any objects rather than random holes like in the original, and poles on the side, so the whole battle will just be a big open place and people shooting each other. Not really a fun map to play it seems like. So I would say add a few broken/damaged objects along the path, and ahve a few things to duck behind.

of course Symbols. It's a WIP

Of course there are going to be more objects to crouch behind and stuff
