Model Problems

Hello.
Its kinda annoying for me (and you guys) that whenever I post I always have bad news, so I'm sorry.

Anyway. I have a few problems with my 'model' after exporting with Mesh Ex (v3). It seems to export okay, but when I try to place it in ZE, I get nothing (meaning it doesn't crash or anything, just I can see nothing). Then, when I try to muge, I get the following errors:

Code: Select all

ERROR[PC_modelmunge bridge.msh]:NO POLY COUNT FOR bridge: THIS IS VERY BAD
ERROR[PC_modelmunge bridge.msh]:NO COLLISION TREE WRITING ALL ZEROES FOR BOUNDING BOX
ERROR[PC_modelmunge bridge.msh]:Unable to write collision tree nodes, no tree exists
   3 Errors 0 Warnings

[/color]

So, what am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

--P.S: I did search for a topic like this one before posting, but could find none, so please forgive me if there is a duplicate topic.

Chances are you didn't branch select (middle mouse key when pointing at dummyroot in XSI explorer) and you just exported the dummyroot null. That error is saying there is no actual model mesh bits.

All of the components are selected, and I have even tried selecting them all manually. And, when Mesh Ex finishes, it says:

Code: Select all

BOUNDING INFO
0 0 0 0 0 0

Press q to quit:
Is that right?

Sorry, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that, but I'll post a screen shot of what I think you mean...

they are children <=> they are under it, you could try if it helps to call the null "DummyRoot"

Nope, that didn't work either. Thanks anyway, though.

Two questions
1) what version of Crosswalk are you using to do the export?
2) can you confirm you are checking all the appropriate boxes on export.

Okay...

1) Crosswalk 2.6
2) Export Selection Only, Convert Geometry to Triangles, Export XSI Normals.

EDIT: I'm really sorry guys, but I have been making a ridiculously stupid error... I didn't un-check the Keep referenced paths relative. Sorry.

This can be locked now...
