Clone Wars: by AceMastermind
Clone War era Conquest mode only.
This map is a battle that takes place about 1 year after the beginning
of the Clone Wars on a secret CIS strategic outpost in the outer rim that has been
discovered by Republic intelligence.
The CIS is not prepared to battle on this day.
This map is best played with your game set to a large number of reinforcements.
Reinforcements:
Republic = 500
CIS = 450
Units:
Republic = 130
CIS = 130
To install this map:
Unzip the "Clone War" ZIP file and extract all files to your desktop.
The "TES" and "READ ME" will both be contained in a "Clone War" folder, click on this folder.
Copy the "TES" folder that is contained in the "Clone War" folder and paste it into your "addon" folder located in:
Program Files/LucasArts/Star Wars Battlefront 2/Gamedata/addon folder
Go play!

Unlimited ammo for all weapons except SBD Wrist rockets
The Jet Trooper and their weapons are unmodified.
The Clones are the only side to get Pilots on this map.
Most of the objects on this map are just for scenary.
The main battle takes place on the ground for a "Civil War" type feel.

Wow looks great,but unfortunatly its not my style of a map.Really nice looking though

looks awesome, ill give it a try, looks similar to that one rhen var outpost map, with all the bespin buildings like this one.

okay i played the map!
awesome! i love wat you did to the gunship, so cool. i really like all the detail you put into terrain and map. it feels like a battle. set up is very nice. good job!
i do have some suggestions though:
-try to make it so the ai go on that super long bridge so we can have a bridge battle too
-maybe put some more cps by or on the bridge, and on that high hill in the center so the ai can utilize those places more.
-give the jet trooper some more ammo for the emp launcher
-give the units a longer sprint ability
-more speeder bikes
thats all i can think of right now. but really fun map. nonetheless!

And it`s true.The AirBattle in the Sky is great.It`s awsome when a Star Destroyer flys direct above your Head.The At-XT is also very cool.
Here some Bugs:The Bridges have Texture Errors and the CIS is Overpowered/Rep Underpowered.

Great map man. Now, gameplay could use some tweaking, on things like balance, and I think this map could use more ingame units, or more cps inbetween - its to long a walk, and each cp is far to spread out. This increases the chances that you will encounter less units while moving from cp to cp, as there is so much space for the units to spread out in, without any clear objective.
As far as aesthetics, this map is wonderful. One of the prettiest, best laid out, and best looking maps out there. Your map is very similar to Republic Dooms Day in that both maps are wonderfull when it comes to looks, and eye candy, but both certain gameplay necessities.
Basically my point is, your map, its good. You units, need some work. Add some more, put some more bases for them to cap, and this map'll be one of the best around, in my opinion.

Thanks for the comments, but this map is finished.
Here's the thing, i wanted the CP's far apart as possible to force you to battle to get to the other side, kinda like "tug o war" (whoever fights the hardest will come out on top).
The Republic is actually overpowered on this map, because i wanted them to be the "Attacking" team, which is what happens when you engage in a surprise attack.
I increased the damage that the republic rifles dish out.
The Republic vehicles are definitly more powerful than the CIS vehicles on this map.
The bridge was actually going to be a "monorail" type of transportation to get across, but i scrapped it.
I did originally have a CP on the highest platform, but i removed it.
I ran a test about 20 times with only AI on the battlefield, and they only captured that CP about 10 times.
On my next map, i'll be using a much larger terrain(512x512), which will allow for much larger battles and more AI, ships, .......etc, i have already begun on it.

okay good deal,
but in my opinion i think you should have kept the cp on the highest platform and added snipers to the map so you could have sniped from up there, would have been cool. but i enjoy this map and will be looking forward to your next one!

like i said in the PM i sent you a few weeks ago, its an awsome start. for the next version ((if there is one)) you should retetxure the bespin objects, i can help you with that if you need me to. some big bugs that i noticed was that your missing some lowrez texures for the bespin buildings, and that the sides are abit to unbalanced,apart from that
8/10, its a good start, can't wait for your next map
a tip for large battles that i have is to have the map 512 x 512, then do all the detailed terrain, hills, mountains, trees, etc etc, in 2/3rds of the map, and have the battle in the middle of the detailed area, heres an example of what I've done in my latest map in progress
basicly, the map is still big, and requires at least 64 AI to fill it nicely, but not kill peoples computer, it also causes alot less lag, and makes a really nice enviroment.

Sorry Penguin, i never did receive that PM, i thought you forgot. lol
I was considering changing the textures for the Bespin buildings, but I decided to leave them that way because i liked the contrast in colors, i kinda wanted something on the map that looked "new" in an "old' environment, the Star Wars universe is cool like that.
I actually did have all of the textures required for each Bespin building, so i'm not sure what could be missing.
I was too far along in this project to increase terrain size, when i realized i was running out of room. lol
My next map is going to be 512x512 terrain, i've been doing alot of testing on that size terrain lately.
I'm not too fond of trees and shrubery in maps, I like the large scale battles like on Geonosis out in the open with massive armies pushing across the battlefield.

im surprised nobody has pointed this significant bug out yet...
in the luas, u havent allowed for the elite weapons...(using clone trooper as example) when i switch from the rifle to the rocket launcher, it is impossible to switch back, because the "elite" rifle, doesn't exist in that map....its the same glitch thats on Han Solo in the Mos Eisley assault map, u can't switch to the precision pistol on that, because it hasn't been allowed in the lua...
other than that, i love the map 100%
