Hi, I'm announcing my greatest undertaking.

http://files.filefront.com/Indiana+Jone ... einfo.html

Map Description:
This map contains and Indiana Jones era and a Whacky era. There is a mountain to climb and plenty of space to explore. Good luck explorers, ENJOY!

p.s. I didn't provide much of a description because it kills the exploration part.
Tis about Indiana Jones, I'd appreciate feedback.

Would you mind telling me how to do that?

You can use several methods, but here is a pic if you want to use it. :)Image
As for feed back, I liked the map but not much else. It needs sides and props. And Indy theme of course. But like I said The Map felt right.

While ingame hit Ctrl + Print Screen. Then hit on Control + V and go to a processor like Paint and paised it there.

If you have XFire, use the screenshot tool. If you don't, go to XFire.com and check it out.

As for some improvements for the map itself even by that one screen, change the sky, make the terrain flow a bit better, and don't just make a big map since you can.

The map is big because RPGers need room to trek around.

Yes but if you make it big you will need a way to get around.

They have feet to walk on. I didn't have any cars or trucks to use at that point in time, and walking makes it fun when there's at least something to keep the mind occupied. I'd make a 2.0 with them but IDK how to add custom vehicles and the computer with the map files DIED and I can't acces them.

Look. Even if a map s big, it doesn't matter if it's completely empty space. I mean, look at a Dann Boeing map. He has a lot of different units to 'RPG' and he has a lot of space in each map. But with his, they have different and unique stuff in each area of each map.

And no. Someone doesn't want to walk for 5 minutes just to get to a mountain they know nothing about.

They don't have to walk for 5 minutes. It's right there. And if you were on, say, a speeder. You'd never find the tunnel.

Then why do you need all that extra space if the main focus is the mountain and you spawn right next to it? Decoration? Doesn't look that decorative to me...

The mountain is the main focus, but there is more to see. There is a trench that I think is the only spontaneous relatively cool thing that I didn't know existed until I looked. There may be things I don't know about. As for the sides, try clone wars.

If you made this, then why don't you know exactly what's in it?

As for size, 250 MB compressed is rather large.

What exactly do you expect me to do about the size?

And how am I supposed to know exactly what's in it if I used the terrain tools to make the hills. I know the whereabouts of the AI paths the rest of it I haven't visited yet.

I strongly agree with fingerfood. The mountain is the main focus, so why the extra space.

Your file size problem is due to sides, I'm guessing.

You need to go into the sides req files and delete all references to anything you haven't used.
