The Hardpoint mystery

Post by jangoisbaddest »

So my error log is trying to be funny.

Message Severity: 2
.\Source\FLEffect.cpp(427)
Attach: model '' [50c95617] has no hardpoint '' [fcf85c6e]

I have several of these. That's about as helpful as nothing. How am I supposed to know what model or effect they're talking about if it gives me '' and '', respectively? I see other people usually have some name between the two apostraphes, so what does this mean? Why can't it tell me what model/effect it's talking about? Is there a way to use those random numbers and letters to trace the model in question?

Is your map crashing, or are there any models or effects that you notice missing/ not working?

I get these a lot, and my map doesn't crash. So if your map is crashing, this isn't the reason.

Off-topic: Those are quotation marks, btw, not apostraphes.

Good to know. Thanks for the info, guys. No, my map isn't crashing. I'm just trying to clean up all of the errors.
