Seriously, this map doesn't need air battles. It's perfect as it is. Plus, hardly ever do you really get to see an infantry-only map as good as this one.

Hey Lord Bandu,
If this is the BETA map, I can't wait for the final. This map rocks! It's already as good as a couple of the maps that shipped with the game!
It also gets me excited about a map idea I have (although I'm not sure if I'll ever have time to execute it

) My idea is also centered around the Jedi Temple, but it would involve at least one of the spires as well as rooms like this. If anybody's interested, I'll give more details. Especially if somebody might want to team up with me to get it made.

(I'm afraid SWBf2 will have something very similar to my idea which might make it not worth doing!

)
Well, enough about my idea! Again, GREAT map Bandu! I'm gonna LOVE the final version!

i was actaully thinkin of expanding it to have 4 rooms ,but, since bf2 is out soonish and it has a jedi temple i dont think il bother

I was kinda thinking the same thing. I'm sure the SWBf2 map will be way too close to my idea. I was thinking about a map involving quite a bit of the temple. It would be designed to re-create the beginning of the Jedi Purge.
Sides: Various Jedi & Padawans vs. A whole crapload of clones.
One hero character... Pre-volcano Darth Vader (Dark Anakin)
Re-enforcement numbers like two to one in favor of the clones
One non-captureable CP per side and around ten or fifteen throughout the temple. (Or possibly the Jedi have one non-cap CP, & in order for them to win, they must kill all clones (not likley with DV on their side) or the Jedi must capture all CP's, one of which they must fight their way to the platform to be rescued by Bail Organa in his speeder)
I'm not TOO ambicious, am I???
Then again, if SWBf2 is like I've heard (Earn use of certain characters), it still may be worth a shot to build this monster of a map for those who like the more straight forward setup of SWBf1.

Fun map, although I'm curious. Is this a scratch built mesh, or is it a Jedi Acadamy BSP->MAP->3DSMax->MSH conversion?

this map .. not very long since everything is symetrical.
The map i spent most time on is mustafar .... but im a much better modeller now and it doesnt take me as long.
I wish i didnt waste all that time on Mustafar. Well, I guess i didnt waste time cos it was helping me to learn.
The invisible hand map BETA shouldnt be too long now. I gave the .WLD file to Dragonum so he could put the rest of the objects I made down . So i could work on other stuff.
