V1.3 localization issue

hello GT. . .

so i had to reinstall swbf2 the other day and also installed the v1.3 patch
again, so i launch swbf2 and none of the maps are localized but everything else works
(sides,free cam etc . . . ) any clues what i did wrong ?

also i apologize if this is in the wrong thread

if you're sure of that, I'm out of ideas, wxept reinstall the 1.3 maybe.

What OS do you have? If it's Win7, you're going to need to install it with the r129 installer.

yes it is windows 7 , okay i'll try the r129 installer

Try the installer that comes with the Convo Pack 2.0. It worked fine on my 7.

or you can try the one that comes withe DT2, thats the newest one

1) The one that comes with the Convo Pack is not, in any way, compatible with Win7. The installer specifically looks for one of 3 operating systems: XP, 32-bit Vista, and 64-bit Vista. If one of these three isn't found, the installer will present an error and it will fail.

2) The one that comes with Dark Times 2 is r129, which is the one I already suggested and didn't work.

3) Make sure your Star Wars Battlefront II folder has it's security settings altered so that it accepts changes from Trusted Installers.
