That what adding
Ignorethisdeathplayer[a] = 1
is for. Basically, all those problems could be fixed with adding more code to the event. And matrix IS your orientation, AFAIK. You may be thinking of teleporting to paths, but that uses the paths matrix, which has its on rotation. My map teleports multi-offense teamkillers to a jail...on their sides.

IMHO, I think making a bridge would be unnecessary because we are suppose to fight a war and going up to the bridge and see nothing but blury AI and due to the height caused low-rez texture on the ground is pointless and a waste of time for Syth to make.

Commando under RC, so there IS a bridge at the end of one level and right in the beginning of the next level, you must first capture it and then defend.
And in Dragonums venators there is an interior of the bridge, which MercuryNoodles is now using to make his map:

It would still take time, and be mostly pointless.
Unless you could maybe control remote defense chainguns from there.

thats one of the reasons im still alive
here is another weird suggestion from me:
can you make an animation which makes the cis ships (the small ones, that you must destroy in swbf1 geo spire map) take off and try to escape, that would be a great target for spha-ts

yea i could but sense theres like 50 (probably more) of them i would probably make one animation and then just apply it to all/some of them.
