Well you did the basic stuff like adding the cp, the control region, and assigning the cp and vehicle stats in the proper fields right?

Of course i did not :? i just put the vehicle spawn on the right cp and the right configuration, plus i put the swampspeeder with no spawn point thing with zero editor and it didnt worked at all, none of em

Hey all, i already posted a topic bout this but we never figured out how to solve it :cpu: , so here is the problem:

Im trying to create a swamp map, everything else is fine, but i need the rep_hover_swampspeeder or the rep_hover_swampspeeder_2man (from the BF1 conversion pack), i tried everything by now :cpu: , but there must be something else here, please help :runaway: .

There might be something wrong with the mesh. Maybe someone out there has made one which you can download. I would try the conversion pack vehicles http://files.filefront.com/Conversion+P ... einfo.html

did you add it to the REP.req file. I just looked at the file and it isn't in there by default so you would just have to add

"rep_hover_swampspeeder" to the end (or anywhere) in the list.

The actual rep_hover_swampspeeder.req file does exist so you are okay there


Edit: As a matter of fact I just put one in game and the only thing I did (other than the basics of putting a vehicle into a map) was to add the name to REP.req file. And it has to be call using the dc:sides thing in the LUA because it is different from the shipped sides. One other thing to check if it doesn't work and that is to make sure there is a REP folder in the data_abc/_build/sides folder the side won't munge if one is not there (this is true of any custom side)
