Hello !

I wonder whether it's possible to hide the console when you use SPTest.exe to try your own maps... :?:
Then, where can I obtain the list of commands which can be typed in this console, please ?
I hope you could help me...

hmm i tried hitting shift+~ and all it does is take away that little < symbol or whatever that allows you to type(which can also be achieved by just hitting the ~ key)

but i think what g@l@k was referring to was hiding the console itself so you dont have that annoying green area taking up half the screen!

i dunno maybe fred can help w/this. but there should be a way to be able to bring the console down(like by pressing shift+~) and bring it backup again w/the same keystroke. kinda like in jedi outcast. :)

good point fred, i didnt think about that. sorry. :(
its not a big deal anyway, cause i usually use sptest to test after i make changes to see if everythings how it should be, and then if i need to i run my map in the real thing to get the true gameplay effect.

although i think its kinda weird that the real game has no accesible console(at least not that i know of), maybe its cause the pc version was imported directly from the console version(at least so iv heard)

yeah i know that the console versions were alil different, but like you said i guess marketingly speaking the pc is most insignificant, so i guess they didnt expend too much time or recources giving the pc version the extra "functionality" you normally get on the pc. but thats why there's modding

like i said, its not that big of a deal. and believe me sptest.exe IS very helpful to me personally and all modders im sure, and the tools are awesome too (i just wish i had more time to explore all their possibilities!) and all your posts and tools/files and help are an indispensable element to the modding world, and they've helped me infinitely! and modding is what makes a game like this really fun, and we just gotta keep pluging away at it.
thanx man, keep it up! :)
