grouping multiple objects as one in zero editor

could grouping multiple objects as one decrease the amont of lag?

for example: if i made a forrest of individual trees then multi-selected them all and saved that as an object would that decrease the amount of lag or would it have no effect?

no , since all your doin is groupin them for ZE's sake.

In genereal, having everything on a map be 1 object would make the lag worse since theyd share the same lod mesh.

so there is no way to decrease the amount of lag with out lowering the amount of objects?

You can add portals...i think, but i have no idea of how they work...
