Anyway, BF2 needs WWII Stuff, None of my planned mods are WWII two though, do to lack of unit models.

Not to knock the author of this mod (good work branching out from what we've got lots of assets for), but why? Seems like about half the FPSs ever made are set in WWII....

Thank you all very much, these comments motivate me to keep on going further.

That is a very good question.

My main reason is - I thought a WWII mod would have fit in and worked out well for the game.

My other reason is - I haven't seen a WWII mod for SWBF 2, and I don't think there is one (Correct me if i'm wrong) So i'm hoping, for my first mod, i'd present the first WWII mod.

And on that note, i present you with a small-ish update.

Okay! Here you go, I sent it to your provided e-mail address.

This is kind of embarassing  but I don't know how to send a PM, I thought I did but when I tried it didn't work so I guess I was wrong.

Hope you like it! :D

I'll reply to that here rather than in a PM in case you're not sure how to open them, either. Fortunately, it's simple - somewhere near the top of your page you should see the text Logout [Your username]. Next to that you'll see something about messages - click that to take you to your inbox. Should be easy to navigate from there.

Alternatively, to send a PM to someone you could also click the little mail icon under their avatar.

Alright, I hope this works:

--Link Removed

You can reskin the soldier model if you REALLY want to, but please don't modify the helmet addon .msh, I worked really hard on it. You can reskin it though.
Please post ingame pics if you get it working! :D

I did the first thing and still couldn't find anything.
Also the mail icon does not show up under anyone's avatar.

I read in the FAQ that moderators/admins can disable your PM abilities. Could this be why I seem to not be able to? :? I haven't broke any rules.

I am all registered and logged in.
Please help, thanks in advance.

--Edit:

Okay, after I made this post all of the sudden a little PM option appeared next to the email option under everyone's else's post, it was NEVER there before, also I can use the "compose message" feature now when before I couldn't, wierd. Oh well at least it works now and I know I'm not crazy :funny2: .

Anyways now I can send PM's, I sent you the link smith38.

If it was an admin/moderator that gave me my PM rights Thank you!!!
Otherwise I don't know why it started working now, thanks for helping Fiodis. :)

We have a feature on the board that disables certain privileges for members until they have a few (three) posts. This acts as an effective anti-spam measure, but it will cause new members to have delayed PM privileges and will necessitate approval of their first three posts.

This map looks fantastic! I can't wait to gun down the enemy with the MG .30 cal!!!

If you make a sequel to this map, I'd recommend doing the beaches of Normandy like in Saving Private Ryan. Speaking of that movie, a map of the bridge battle would possibly be even better.

I LOVE the looks of this map! World War 2 is one of my top 3 FAVORITE subjects (next to Star Wars of course)

Keep up the good work with the map.

(the pic of the transport a couple of posts back looks either like a troop transport, or the beginning foundations of a tank)

Thanks buddy.

I've already planned an Omaha Beach mod with 2nd Rangers in it and a (Possible) landing with the higgins boat

Thank you,

That is actually a prop for the Axis base, i might make that into a vehicle for a future map.

And now,

I present you with a really really good reskin done by CalvaryCptMike. I met him on a server and he offered me his Axis soldier. Well done to him! It looks great!
