The waiting is killing me! I've been going over my other games and getting my collection ready for transfer. Although I might go through the game twice before I start sending in my Pokemon. I'm getting white. Should we put up a poll on what version people will get?

I'm getting white at first, too, but my friend's birthday is coming up and he wasn't planning on buying either himself though he does kinda want them, so I'm getting him black. Remember that having access to both is a massive advantage with differences like White Forest and Black City.

I'm going to buy Black first, then White at the next payday.

Hidden/Spoiler:
Currently in the Pinwheel Forest with the team of
Dewott Lv. 23
Servine Lv. 20
Pignite Lv. 20
Zorua Lv. 22

Why choose a starter when you can have all three? :P

Got the game today, and have been taking my time. I'm now up to the city with the second gym. Should probably go out and catch a Timburr, and maybe level grind a bit.

Current team:
Hidden/Spoiler:
Oshawatt Lv. 14
Lillipup Lv. 13
Pansear Lv. 12
Munna Lv. 11
Pidove Lv. 10
Blitzle Lv. 10

Wow, everyone else seems to have trained their teams in such a balanced fashion. I probably shouldn't wait til I get the EXP share to do that like I usually do, but it's too late for that. My team:
Hidden/Spoiler:
Servine "Smugleaf" lv22
Panpour "Pancake" lv10
Lillipup "Dowgeh" lv8
Roggenrola "Lennon" lv16
Pansage "Waffles" lv15
What can I say, I love Smugleaf. :P
Of course, once I get Nimbasa City, my team will gradually get more balanced in terms of levels; Lord Pants and the Blob of Doom? Yes please.

I just beat the first gym, but I'm taking my time, mostly getting my team to lvl15.
Current Team:
lvl13 Oshawott-Ludro
lvl12 Lilllipup-Wolfen
lvl11 Patrat-Looker
lvl12 Purrlion-Felyne
lvl12 Pansear-Flamkey
lvl11 Munna-Baku

I'm currently deciding on whether to replace one of the two normals with Roggenrola.
Or are there better Pokemon beyond soon? I haven't reached the fourth town yet, but I'm past the first cavern scene.

I'd replace Patrat with Roggenrola for sure. Patrat sucks no matter what, and Roggenrola does at first, but Gigalith's pretty sweet.

I replaced my Lillipup with a Sawk (though I believe Throh is more common in White), which is an incredibly fast fighting type, so I'd go with either that or Roggenrola.

Beat the second gym earlier through desparation and a healthy dose of dumb luck. :P I'm now in Castelia City, taking my time by doing sidequests. I plan on going to the Liberty Garden tomorrow to get Victini.

Watchog needs to get out of the way. It's such a shame it's stats are horrible, because its movepool at even level 23 is amazing (Hypnosis, Super Fang, and Crunch?!)

Also the Musical is still hilarious. My Zoroark was in a top hat wearing a bow-tie and had a cane.

Hidden/Spoiler:
Zoroark Lv. 30
Dewott Lv. 28
Boldore Lv. 28
Pignite Lv. 26
Servine Lv. 28
Tranquill Lv. 27

About to fight N and Elesa, 9:30 hours

Ugh, I need to setup my internet to that pass. Games says I don't have an connection, even though I do. Then again... Can the game recognize an advance internet setting on my DSi?

The DSi can accept all types of security (not sure about WPA2, WPA works though). Make sure you set it up on the actual DSi and check to make sure the cart is set up that way as well.

Gigalith Lv. 36

... I just figured that out right before I headed out to school this morning... :cpu:
In any case, isn't about time we start putting up our Friend Codes:
2193 6982 2322
I have a Throh for those who chose Black, just caught though, for a Sawk if anyone is interested. I'll be available for trading later on tonight. Right now, I'm leveling my team to lvl 18 before I continue on with the Pinwheel Forest section.
My new additions:
lvl18 Petilil-Ivy
lvl18 Blitzle-Stallion
lvl18 Roggenrola-Jaden
lvl18 Throh-Thor
I kept lvl15 Munna and Oshawott (now lvl17 Dewott).
I seem to go at a rather slow pace instead of rushing in without a lot training... I believe that is due to that Diet Dr. Pepper milk cow from a certain gym from Crystal/Silver Soul that completely crushed my confidence when I first toke it on...

If anyone's wondering how I've gotten to the point in the hide tags of this post, I've been using Audino's giant EXP boost combined with the Lucky Egg. To make an Audino (or any shaking grass patch Pokemon) appear simply take less than or equal to 200 steps for a distance of 2-5 steps near the wild grass. A shaking grass patch or bubbling water patch will always appear before or at 200 steps, and this way you can keep fighting Audino over an over again. Even when they're 15 levels behind you they still raise you half a level if you have a traded or Lucky Egg Pokemon fight them. Remember though, use the stat boosting items like Protein and the various Wings to make sure your Pokemon aren't too weak, as this is basically a longer version of the MissingNo./Rare Candy glitch from Red/Blue.

By the way, Ghetsis is probably one of the best villains the series has ever had.

I just beat the Bug Type clown.
Here is my team:
Hidden/Spoiler:
Servine lvl 21
Panpour lvl 20
Tranquill lvl 23
Roggenrola lvl 21
Darumaka lvl 18
Timburr lvl 21
I'm looking for a good replacement for Darumaka, any suggestions? I might go with Sandile.

About the replacement for Daruamaka, don't. He's amazing when he evolves. Darmanitan is essentially Game Freak doing Flareon and Entei again, but this time they did it right. He's relatively fast, has an amazing ability, and a near-uber attack stat.

Scraggy is really good if it has the Moxie ability. Its Attack and Defense stats are really high, and let's just say both of its types come in handy. Darumaka is pretty good when it evolves too, but if you really don't want it I suggest Scraggy.

Comes out in two days here, I might pick it up. Although I grew up with the original 150, it would be nice to see some changes. I think I might need a new DS though, I still have the classic silver one.

The DS Fat's alright to play this on. I had to use it for my Japanese versions because at the time my DS Lite was having the odd problem of not being able to read saves and the Japanese games themselves were region locked for the DSi.

Oh and I beat the game in two days, and I read all the text and battled everyone. I'm getting faster. :P

Ending Spoilers, do not read if you're not done
Hidden/Spoiler:
Ghetsis Harmonia is such a good father. He put N into a room from birth, shoved in some abused Pokemon, and then planned to use him as a puppet ruler when he would someday get Reshiram/Zekrom. Then Cheren screws up at the end and the Dark Triad gets away with Ghetsis. I really hope they continue Black and White's story in 6th Gen, sort of like how they did with Red and Blue's with Gold and Silver, because Ghetsis is still plotting from the moment he got out of Cheren and Alder's hands, as he gives you the Orbs of Sinnoh's Dragon Trio "for reasons unknown." Maybe he'll try to get Arceus next, they have similar battle music. :P

Also, third version has to happen. With all the references to Reshiram and Zekrom being one Pokemon and the incredibly broken looking Kyurem being in some cave with two moves that are in the game's coding but not able to be used by him even though they both have Fire/Ice or Electric/Ice sounding names, they have to do something with that.
Oh and the Pokeshifter is so much better than the Pal Park, I managed to transfer 72 Pokemon in a half hour. Then I leveled up a Charmander to a Charizard in 5 minutes. At least they went easy on us with the EXP in this game because of the fact that we now have to catch 649 of them.

Friend Code is 3009 7367 4687. It won't be when the 3DS launches, though, because of how this stupid thing makes friend codes.

Also, the GTS was lagging so much last night I kept getting error codes just trying to go into the place. I'd give trading that require tradebacks a few days before attempting so the dust cloud of everyone trying to get on at once clears a bit.

Oh, and if you guys are still playing 4th gen and have missed some of the events, use this site. Follow the instructions and enjoy getting some or all of the events from the last 7 years.

I have a Boldore that I wish to evolve, so does anyone want to do a quick trade back with me?
Currently my team consists of:
lvl28 Victini
lvl28 Dewott
lvl30 Scraggy-
lvl30 Boldore
lvl30 Lilligant
lvl34 Cofagrigus

I'm thinking of eventually replacing Cofagrigus and Boldore with a Golurk and a Haxorus. Would it be worth while when I reach them?
