And outside buildings the ground should show more wear.
I'd actually been working with that today. I'll start on the plant thing, too.

Thanks for comments! I'm working on the Independent Faction tank today and I'll have some screen shots in a few hours. Or minutes. Depends on bugs.

Updates: Still working on the IF hover vehicle. It's not cooperating. I have got in the sniper rifle and the shotgun models from Murcador (sp?) on their appropriate troopers. I had it mixed up for a while and the shotgun was a rifle and the sniper rifle was a shotgun. That was fun. So, without further ado...more screen shots:

Yes, I wondered who would be the first to notice. I still need to fool with the view distance and fog to hide stuff like that. ;)

I like the skins, they look a lot different then the default rebels. I think that thats indicative of your nice skinning job.

good gun models too.

Credit to the modelers not me. Moving_Target and Murdocr made them. :)

!!!
Why are you trying to hide the terrain cutter, there's an object over there right? you just need a _lowres in the model that uses that terrain cutter...

I didn't make the model, ghost did, and it has not low-rez geometry.

I don't think he's been on for a while. I was going to add fog anyway, so it won't really matter when it gets down to it.

Alliance Tank (WIP):

What else can I do to it?

It looks awesome, really well-done, but what are you going to do for Alliance tanks? Do you think it's possible to make Alliance Capital ships fly in the air in the background?

looks really good.
not really useful, but maybe u can make a door kind of evident on the round part between the missiles?

make it look like the entrance for a gunner to go into :)

this is just for extra detail. the skin looks magnificient enough already

I think one thing that could make it a bit better is if you made the terrain brighter. Other than that, great work so far! :D

Now this looks like a map that I would love to download. The rebels new gun looks amazing.

That is the Alliance tank. I'm going to modify how they fire and what it looks like, but beyond that I don't know what more I can do. If someone makes a model for a capital ship, then I would most certainly put them atmosphere.
I tried adding the door RAymo was talking about, but it still needs work. Updated screens later today possibly.

I'd say I would be better to make brighter lighting in stead of adjusting the texture itself.
