1.9 (FULL INSTALL) Release Thread

I can respect your wanting to have everything canon, but doing that in SWBF just ruins gameplay and variety. Sorry. My priorities go 1) Fun 2) Balance 3) Variety 4) Canon

But really though -- I do understand why canon would be cool.

...awww crud, now you got me wanting to rant...

Just because we never 'saw' it in the movies, books, or comics doesn't mean it couldn't happen. We're just exploring the unexplored. So if a yellow (which was the rank color of a leader) ARC Commander were to exist, I think he'd look like he does. Of course that doesn't cover stuff like droid commanders carrying pea shooters, but that goes back to balance and variety.

Woohoo! the entire pack in one addon folder!

My addon folder will be so empty now!

Filefront is also running really fast today!! (400-600kb/sec)

I also have a one page paper to write for homework! Wait....that's bad.

Oh well, it's easy.

Edit: What's the pack's addon folder name?

Yeah im pleased it's come out, but why is it so "veryrudeword" large its taking me 40hrs to dl

Also atm im playing DoW WA so i probably wont use it 4 a while

It's big cos it has a LOT of content, besides, it used to be even bigger

It's really worth the download and the space a hundred times, trust me.

I was playing "space geonosis" in the conversion pack v. 1.9 and I was piloting the gunship to the droid capital. when I landed and got out it froze for half a second, then crashed. is this something I can fix with my settings, or is it a bug with the pack?

Is your lighting set to 'medium'? If not, that's required to run the maps. Bloom should be off too. For some reason mod maps don't run right on high or with bloom.

Did you run the installer to the /Star Wars Battlefront II/Gamedata folder or did you extract to desktop then move the files over? You MUST run the installer. Also, all video settings on the right side of the 'video' options screen should be set to medium.

OK here is exactly what i did....

I went to install and clicked it...

The basic think came up...

more basic stuff...

I hit next...

I it next again...

It started to download...

When finished i when to my Addon folder and found this...

Clicked on BF1 and found this...

Clicked data found this...

Clicked on that and i found this...

When to the first folder and this is all i found...

Now eather somthing is wrong here or i can't read good... Which is it....

ok everything is fixed, I needed to reinstall the game.

SOme levels don't load however...
