Gogie's new model

Post by Gogie »

this is the 3rd enterprise model I have made, this will probably be the final.
Here you can see the top half of the saucers progress.
every groove done individually for higher rendering detail.

here is the VIP lounge, visible only through 4 windows below the control dome (the bridge)

small squares along the side of the outer hull for higher accuracy

Wow, nice job.
Going for a partial interior are we?
What are you planning to do with this model, once complete? SWBF2?
I doubt that somehow, but you never know.
Pehaps for use in some other modable game, or perhaps just for the fun of it.

Whatever you made it for, great job, great detail.
I can't imagine what the poly count will be though.
:runaway:

Edit: Oh yea, and welcome back, good to see you around. :)

thnx Caleb

I dont think I will put it into BFII, its more of a "i'll do it cause im bored" type of thing, I wanted interior detaikled so the windows had something to show inside of them other than just plain white light. besides it is much more detailed this way right?

Erm, hmm...

Galaxy class? Nice!

If not, just saying, the saucer part just had this look at first.

It's either Constitution- (or the refit), Excelsior-, or Ambassador-class. Galaxy-class (and Sovereign) have ovoid saucers (although the Galaxy bows out left-to-right and the Sovereign top-to-bottom). If he's continuing his earlier model, then it's a Constitution (refit) class.

you can tell its a constitution refit class (often refered to as "enterprise" class by the un educated) mainly because of the phaser banks. they are rectangular looking on TMP types of models. Also by the shape and location of the ships VIP/Officers lounge.

Ah right. XD

Well at first it kinda bent like the Galaxy-class. Maybe I looked at it wrong. Then again, I haven't seen a refit-Constitution-class in a while. I've seen one, but it's been a while. Not much a ST fan as I am SW, but eh. ST is still awesome.
