Assuming you realize he's referring to Star Wars BF2, not Battlefield 2, both Republic and Imperials got a unit with jet-packs; Jet Troopers and Dark Troopers. :roll:

Yeah I saved the film, I just haven't recorded it yet. But actually I think I was the one with the ball. And omg that was hilarious and amazing.

Yeah. I played for about another hour today and I gotta say it's just amazing gameplay. The only thing that they absolutely gotta fix is the whole hold-the-flag, throw-the-flag, hold-the-flag, throw-the-flag garbage.

Bungie absolutely failed with the timing for this open beta. School is ending, teachers are cramming, and there are exams/finals.

This better last more than 3 weeks or I will be sad.

This! Another thing they should fix is the locations of the Stockpile zones on Sword Base. I really want to play this with just a few friends soon. And considering how good just this stuff is, I can't wait for invasion on Friday. That is just gonna be amazing.

I don't like the use of the guard equipment, but just stand back and chuck a few grenades and it should be ok. I don't have many complaints, nor can I find many problems. I do expect the graphics to be better in the finished version (mainly the promise of no texture distortion), but knowing Bungie, they're probably cramming in the polish now

I need to put a few of my epic films on my file share, I had a game where I went 27 kills, 22 deaths, and I survived only a couple of my kills, maybe 5 of them. All of my other kills were close-quarters sticks that had at least one other person next to me. I love Covy Slayer. :P

I hail from Neogaf (sub. Halogaf), where a couple of Bungie employees post regularly. The issue with the announcer repeating these things over and over has already been resolved, just not in the beta. Besides, you no longer get the speed boost from this anyway, but people haven't found this little tidbit out yet.

Yeah, I found out that they keep the player slowed down if they throw the flag, meaning that you end up going the same speed anyway. Nice -- but still I wish they'd broadcast that a bit more, everyone's still doing it.

I've actually figured out how to move faster whilst carrying the flag- all you have to do is be the Airborne Class. Not nearly as effective as Halo 3's was, but it still works and I believe Bungie is fixing it.

They drop in Boneyard for Invasion only tomorrow and Overlook for Network Test 1 only a week from tomorrow. They both sound amazing, especially Invasion, and I'm glad that goes live tomorrow.
