Is it possible to add brand new sounds to the main game? I know if it was it would have to be in a separate .LVL file, probably also loaded into the LUA, but I wanted to add new sounds to a few of the weapons in the game.

no but the sound has all different names i have try it for 2 months and it was a big mistake it not go working

Actually, it might be possible. Just, might be. I've been reading Psych0Fred's sound tut, I think it might be possible since you can do the same with a mod map.

Hey, sorry for bumping, but I've made some sort of development.

I think I can actually remake the world audio files - I extracted the music and BG Ambience from the game (won't go into details). The music is clicky on some tracks (my disc was scratched) but I like the idea of replacing it anyway since it was all straight from albums. I can also get the SFX associated with certain levels.
