Looks good so far.
When you say this is a "speeder" map, does that mean speeders are the only vehicles we can use?
If you take vehicle reccomendations, I'd reccomend the ISP ( Infantry Support Platform). It would blend in well with the Hoth environment.

Nice LAAT and BARC speeder Linus. Make sure to remove the jungle-y bits from the LAAT and put some snow on it instead. Some smoke coming from it might be a nice touch as well.

The ground looks too bright and you should add in some other textures too. Like everyone else said, alot of cover would be sweet. I think it would be cool if you made like a ground battle and then had a tunnel battle going on as well.

this i would like to ask: have you been able to put the AT-TE in the map?
second: are you going to put in the MTT? if so you should skin it to give it a snowy look, that would be cruel.
btw you're probably going to reskin the CIS droids so I would like to suggest to give them also a snowy look:)

Snow doesn't burn, t3tine, it melts. Do you live in Hawaii or something?

Besides, it snows so regularly on Hoth that the burnt/melted snow would be covered up the next day. Hence the buried LAAT.
Linus, will you be adding capital ships in the sky? Or is it primarily a ground map?

There is many speeders (And
STAPS...) on the map, but there's Fighter Tanks too...

ODF-folder.

Off-Topic:yeah, you should´nt come with stupid ideas about snow to a swede...we have more snow than most people could even imagine (at least at the winter)

..(I don´t mean to offend you or anything...)
On-Topic: This map really looks like it´s going to be something really good...I really hope you´ll put alot of AT-TEs in it...

a lot of at-te's becomes a problem because then ai don't spawn at the cp's and it makes them all too easy to capture. one or two at-te's is usually enough.

I did´nt think of that..but it would be cool to have alot of AT-TEs walking around...if not only for that "cp-spawn-problem"...

You simply remove about 10 lines from the odf, pretty simple and they're all in one clump...

Agreed.
This might already be on your to-do list but I recommend overwriting your current sky file with the Hoth one. I say this because some people don't bother changing the sky file and I personally don't like the default sky at all.
