Null's: Felucia, Junia, and Talay

After a VERY long hiatus I have Talay V. 2 which may mark the ending of my SWBF2 Modding. As for the Mappack, Crazy_Ewok is taking over Naboo, Mustafar, and New Plympto. As for Felucia and Junia, I need a trusted modder for those maps, soo if you want to volunteer go ahead.

Known bugs/Issuses:
A spawning area may spawn you under a building
Some weapons are not localized ( sorry ) or localized incorrectly.
AI tend to ignore barriers and run into walls.

hey, i thought it was dead... but sad to hear you stop modding, this is a really good map (havent tested the new version yet, but the last one is awesome)
well i hope you dont leave gametoast

EDIT: have tested it and i like the changes on the rebel side but empire could be a bit better (in fact the imperial side in the previose version was better in my onpinion), you could add two kinds of stormtroopers, just as it was last time and two kinds of dark troopers (pIII and pII), right now there is only a pIII DT, the officer could get other weapons

Finally, it is out! I've been waiting for a newer version since the first one came out for months! This version even has campaign mode! I'll download it right away!

Oh, goody! I loved Talay Tak sooooo much! Unfortunately, I'm getting an error with the file. :x I'll try redownloading it, but great job! :thumbs: I thought you did a better job of representing Talay then LucasArts did in Dark Forces... :D

I was expecting these! Too bad to see you leaving swbf2 modding. Taking a break, or forever? Still gonna be hanging here?

I'd love to try Talay and Felucia and Junia, finishing/ working on these maps would be a blast!

I've just tried Conquest and Campaign. The map itself was overall a great improvement over the last version. The water wasn't glitchy and the map didn't freeze again after a second loading. That's a good thing. The new texture, lighting, and new models/props look great. Those explosive barrels add a lot to the game play (boy, do they blow). :lol:

The sides: I haven't played as the Rebels yet but I did take a look. They looked good and nice use of the Super Battle Droid. The Empire although powerful (mainly due to the Dark Trooper) lacks variety like what negah mentioned earlier. The Empire side is still cool.

Campaign wasn't very exciting but I enjoyed it. You even used the original load screen, mission brief, and dialogue. I think what is lacking are the weapons and the music (not up beat/exciting enough). Other than that, it's okay.

It is a pity you can't finish this map. I hope you will change your mind and stay in modding Battlefront II, finish all the projects you started, and then quit. You don't have to, it's just my opinion. Anyways, keep up the good work! :)

Null, I would love to finish junia and add it to a mappack, which, atm, has 6 finished maps and 31 new models/msh files.. Send me a pm if interested.. You know me (remember? :P ), i wouldn't stop till it's perfect.. Great work on those, glad to have some new fun playable maps ;) :thumbs:

Okay. After playing through, I've found several bugs in Campaign, and know a few ways to make Conquest better. It is a very good map, but with some improvement, it could be much better. In Campaign I actually felt like I was Kyle going into the facility and finding the Dark Trooper weapon. I'd love to continue it, fixing the bugs I found, along with making the map as good as it could be. I know you all haven't seen much...stuff from me, but I'm still a modder, and I think that this'd be a great map to continue.

Anyway, fantastic map, had some bugs, but still, very good! :thumbs:

Well, to name a few in Campaign, I was able to get the Dark Trooper weapon before I activated the water hydro thing, I think Kyle is a tad too bright, I was able to get outside, there are a few errors near the water where it isn't totally enclosed, you should make the Rebel Transports simple props and not destroyable...

Anyway, those were the errors I got on the first play through. I've got a few suggestions along with some ideas of my own. Please let me be the continuer?

I would like to take over Felucia and Talay, since I have experience in campaign ( slight, but as much as Eggman, I've got a basic understanding that can get me far).

As for bugs, the Talay update was the one map I wanted (not by you, just released in the time period I dont have internet on MY computer), and it was the only one I downloaded and usb-d to my computer. ITS AMAZING. Trurly incredible. Although the map is still slightly inbalanced, the Imperial team wins all the time, since their weapons are cool, fun, and powerful. The only blazing was that and I would just put some more thought into the rebel weapons.

Guys, if I choose anyone I am NOT letting them mess with the Campaign mode. I'm still thinking about who to give which maps too.
