Yeah, that looks amazing! Just as a side question - by one piece of geometry do you mean merging the polies or creating it out of one shape?

The AT-AP anims are really good, but for me it seems to move too fast. :?

@sampip, i think he means creating it out of one object. You can achieve that by extruding components(edges, polies) or just create a cube with more subdivisions... The last one is more the "beginner way", but imo extruding is a lot easier and funnier :D

yes that is basically what i meant, oh and don't forget my favorite, boolean difference :D

@D_S ah it may be fast but by the magic of odf parameters I can slow it down, still working on what it's speed should be. max speed for an ATST is 90 max for ATAP is 60 so it does move at a good pace.

Yay, all hail to the magic odf parameters. :thumbs:

With max do you mean boost or regular forward speed?

If it's "max" i think he means boost.

Back in action with a simple model (probably gonna do more advanced projects later on).

Texture partly photosourced, took some picture from the (brilliant) CGtextures. :spam:

Nice gun, though the poly count would kill BFII pretty much on the spot.

Nice to see you back in action ;)

@FM
Nice model, you could delete some polies, though. For example at the jet/engine front things and the round thingy at the cockpit.

Extruding to me is a word of jibberish :lol: (although I will search it) - I will just use sub-divisions, it's not too hard and (I'm guessing) it's a bit easier.
