yeah i gotta play with the exhaust so that its kinda a firey red-orange cause thats how it was in the movie and also in the rogue squadron games for the gamecube.

EDIT: does anyone know how to change the exhaust to a red-orange?

That's the smoke that comes out of the pipes in cars and other machines.

In this case, the engine glow color.

As you can see, it's more orange than pink. As for how to change it, I think you're going to have to make a new FX file for it. You could ask Face; he's pretty good with FX.

man i love the rogue squadron games, ive got em all. i was lookin at the file with notepad and i think i can type in the color by using the numerical codes and using photoshop as a reference for what numbers to type in.

Indeed. The Rogue Squadron games were classic. I still play from time to time. Way better than any space maps BFII ever had or will have. Can't beat the Battle of Endor level. :)

As for the color codes, I'm not sure if that'll work, but you can try. This list might help you. It has all the RGB color codes you'll ever need. Just pick what you want, copy the code, and bam. There you go. It works with lasers... why no engine glow? It's worth a shot.

im debating on wheather or not to add landing gear to the ship or just let it "float" when landed.

Landing gear. Will look more professional. ;)

It floated in Rogue Squadron. I personally think you should do that. It should float. Definitely. If you want to do it like Rogue Squadron.

i think im gonna add the gear.

OFF TOPIC: why was this topic moved? it should be in XSI ---> SWBF2 if anywhere cause its not a complete mod or map, just the lone model.

Dunno. Guess Lev or Guru moved it. I suppose I can move it when I get home from work.

*We (staff) really need to get organized as far as the BF2 forums go.

yeah cause when i first posted this topic there was no XSI ---> SWBF2 thread like there is now and where something like this belongs since its a model that i made in XSI and im exporting it to SWBF2, this seems outta place and kinda retarded :P

Keep the XSI forum for XSI help , not as a showcase.

Since this is a mod announcement it should stay in the mod announcement forum.

but it says right in the discription of the forum, post models >_>

Stuff like this (model showcases) end up drawing attention away from the 'help' threads. Its like putting map announcements in the SWBF2 modding forum.

Bad idea imo.

This B wing is a mod ,correct? It should stay in the mod announcement forum  .

ill help anyone with anything they need to know about XSI, tomarrow i plan on posting the vehicle animation tutorial for flyers and once i make a walker ill do one for that too. playermodels dont need a tut, all you need is to know how to model and how to envelope the model and you just export it and thats it.
