Just a qucik reminder that not everything is better at ER.
My email to TAW Krenny:
In match 2295 we gave repeated calls for no match due to lag and the inability to even move in-game. This match and the subsequent match are invalid. I have never had this problem on any server in BF1 or BF2, especially TAW's servers.
Steve [GT]SS6067
His reply:
In match 2295, [GT]SS6067 did say he had lag on coruscant, however we asked if they wanted to stop the match, the other 3 GT members said no to continue and continued to play till the end of the match.
After the game over xfire one of there members or SS6067 himself asked TAW_Chip to give GT-SS6067 an all 0 score for the submission of that match and we did. Therefore there is no dispute on this match and the dispute is an internal GT matter with the other 3 members that wanted to continue the game. We were completely fair in this matter and the dispute that all subsequent matches we played before that are somehow invalid is completely ludicrous.
TAW_Krenny
My reply:
"however we asked if they wanted to stop the match"
No message was sent via xfire nor in-game chat. HOW did you "ask" if "they" wanted to stop the match. each member of Gt I was in contact with DURING the game via Xfire had lag problems and left it to me to inform your team via the in-game chat.
"continued to play till the end of the match."
So did I. allowing your team to shoot me repeatedly to prove I could not move. I also waited to start the second match to see if anyone was going to stop. My team asked me if I would at least start the game to see if it was better. I did. It wasn't, and I informed everyone via the in-game chat.
"After the game over xfire one of there members or SS6067 himself asked TAW_Chip to give GT-SS6067 an all 0 score for the submission of that match and we did."
There was NEVER ANY contact between ANY member of your team and I the entire time.
"Therefore there is no dispute on this match and the dispute is an internal GT matter with the other 3 members that wanted to continue the game"
After the match all three other GT members agreed that I was to send the email you received. There is no "internal GT matter".
"We were completely fair in this matter and the dispute that all subsequent matches we played before that are somehow invalid is completely ludicrous."
There was no attempt to be fair at all. You ignored repeated messages that there was something wrong with the server. Made no attempt to communicate in-game to all, made no attempt to correct the problem. The two matches we played are the ones that are invalid. Not everyone you have played or will play. That is not for me to decide, however, if you wish to let these stand, do so. I will not play with you or anyone from TAW ever again. This is yet another example of the reasons GT left in the first place.
Steve [GT]SS6067
I received no reply to this, Rrass also sent an email backing me up, but the match apparently still stands as it is listed in the matches. That silly rule about leaving a match is a catch-22 situation. If you leave a match or "lag-out" you get all 0's. If you stay in the match even while the whole time you are explaining you CANNOT MOVE, you are "continuing the match so it stands". Same old stuff of unsportsmanlike conduct by a few people like before.

That is dissapointing.TAW in the past have
always not reported matches like this and have always been fair, surely a misunderstanding.I'm sure these guys will sort it out.Aslong as we do not tarnish the [GT] prefix. We know gtpwn
Weldone you [GT] members who got to take part.GMT needs more players......Come back Saturn,Eddie,MasterTUF......

Hello guys,
This is JimWalker from TAW. First let me say that it's a pleasure to have you guys back. Playing against you guys is allways great fun.
I am also a moderator at ER. And this matter has been brought to my attention. Any match that is disputed will be resolved. At this time Maelstrom is on a business trip and will probably contact you on the game.
Let me a sure you that in no way have we tried to be unsportmanshiplike. We at TAW are all a big fan of GT and it's mod maps. Therefore we would really like to see this resolved.
There is a rule in CW that you guys might not be aware of.
If player(s) drop prior to either team reaching the 175 tick mark, the match must be restarted. Any drops occuring after the 175 tick mark must continue until the match is completed. If a player disconnects from the game after the 175 tick mark, it will be the players responsibility to reconnect to the game as fast as possible. Even though all points are lost when disconnects occur; players returning will contribute to their team score. If the player does not return this person will still be recorded when game results are submitted, with all Zeros (0s).
Unless the Host Game Crashes, game will continue to the end.
This rule is there to prevent players from leaving the game halfway through if they are losing badly and calling of the game. If you experience lag or have any other issue with the server you and your entire team are allowed to drop out of the game before the 175th ticket. Then the match would not have been valid.
You can xfire me at jimwalkertaw or meet up with me on the ER teamspeak and we will talk about this. I would also like to hear the opinion of the other [GT] members who were in that match. [GT]_-_-, [GT]geoman777 and [GT]Rrass. Either send me a email or post here.

As I said, the problem was from ticker count 200, well before 175. From the very start I posted in the ingame chat that I could not move and that something was wrong. No attempts were made to rectify the situation. No ingame chat from TAW members. Rrass and Geoman kept telling me they were lagging and Rrass lagged out multiple times. Not a word from any TAW members in the match. They continued to play. It doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things whether these matches count or not. I could care less at this point so I consider this settled.

the moral of this story is golf balls cant be used for footballs.
who cares about score anyways its not like we get a tax break or something....and gt guys dont have a heart attack but i think even if we had these
points or this game was a total win for us, we would still be like what 10 and half place in the event , ROFL.
Have fun in the game and make friends , if you happen to not like the people in your match , just type I love raw pork in chat and turn your pc off and do something
productive! lol.
GT or any clan shouldnt sqaubble over this he said she said crap , if the server wasnt setup correctly, and no one responds. simply leave and dont play with this
couple of cats again in the near guture. Life moves on.... makes you wish we had out own server yea but its fun to join servers in uk and abroad and get ping numbers that
look like phone numbers.

This was our biggest event hosted at Ecliptical Realms! 228 players from 28 clubs participated in 1071 matches throughout the week! TEE jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. TAW tried cutting into TEE's lead on the last couple of days, but TEE held on to win by 6 points. TEE was so dominante, 7 of the Top 10 players were from that club! Conquest Week 3 should be very entertaining as BURN returns, DE has bolstered their roster and TAW is always dangerous. In addition, TEE_AdmiralThrawn regrabbed the most games record by playing in 180!
The standings are official for this event.
The Top 5 Clubs brought about this result:
1. TEE
2. TAW
3. DE
4. BURN
5. SFI
The Top 10 results look like this:
1. TEE_AdmiralThrawn
2. TEE_DarkAssassin
3. TEE_Juggernaut
4. DE_Anakin
5. TEE_SlyFox
6. TEE_Guardian
7. TEE_BrianG.
8. TEE_Tetsyga
9. TAW_chip
10. DW_CrixUK
This was also the first event to award Member Plus points. Four people increased their totals in this event.
Congratulations to all the award winners!
Flag Week 1 is already underway! Conquest Week 3 is scheduled for February 3 through February 10. Please pass the word along to bring more players and clubs into these upcoming events!
See you next time!
