What if... there was a flag next to someone's name that told them what country they were from. So you could get a feeling where other members are from. It could even be optional ofcourse.

well, flag and location is different. Location can be more expressiv, like a state of mentality) but also its more into specifics, like New York is very different than say... Texas, but both are in the US.
