high school is free, its public education, school in the US from age 5 to 18 is free which is elementary through high school. i probably qualify for financial aide so the government loans me money for college and i pay it back over time.

heh - it's the other way around here
EVERY Public Education is paid by the state

so is some money you get for being a student etc.
but EVERYTIME you work, you gotta pay like +40-46% in taxes

those taxes goes to everything from the ways, payment, schools and all that education

the elder, the retarded - lol, free healthcare etc.
I like the system, though; you get evrytihng for free and helps pay for the next generation

well its been a while, i was kinda bored since ive been house bound from a fractured knee and teancum was saying how much he liked this model so i decided to UV map it, im gonna start on the textures maybe but i dont have tons of time to work on it but if anyones interested in making the texture for this model ill send them the scene files. if it gets textured ill finish up the small easy things like getting it in game and ill release it for mappers to use in thier maps since i doubt ill ever make a map.
(for those of you saying this pic stretches the screen raise your resolution or buy a better video card!

well if he does all he has to do is post here and ask, ive further fixed the UVs for the cockpit since they werent connected from top to side and i didnt want the UV boundaries to show, i also scaled the animation to cover 250 frames rather than 150 so that it plays slower like it does in the movies and hopefully wont hit the hangar on the way out, i might just have to build the collision after i get the animations sorted since this ship is to scale so it is tall.

Nice shuttle! It looks a bit like the shipped shuttle with more detail and better guns etc.

I'd love to see that thingie with a checkerboard (or Noise) Texture, to see if there are any tex-stretchings and so on

Ask Majin to check it for accuracy and prolly I can skin that thingie for you. Although I havnt finished the UTAT yet and i'm gonna be on vacation next week. But there are lots of "photo"-sources for the shuttle and only one tiny pic of a ut-at

trainmaster, this shuttle is very different from teh shipped one, this is the lambda shuttle seen in the original trilogy, also, my PC is a Compaq, the windows is just modified using windows blinds but i do have the ability to run a 64 bit OS.
there you go, everything is spacial and to scale with the model, also of course i would UV map something someone else was gonna texture, its too much work to let the texture artist make the UVs, besides UVs are easy, i dont see how so many people have trouble with them.

some people preffers seeing things visual, others in codes, others in images and others in numbers

you can't blame their creativity to get ruined because they've got problems with imagining how it would look like.

well DooFi, PM me your email or something that i can use to send you the scene file so i can try and get this thing finished up as fast as possible. also if your interested in more i still have the b-wing as well i just have to do the UVs for it first but it wont take long.

I'm sorry xD I forgot to tell you I do own WinRar, but I don't own XSI 5^^ Is it possible that you send me a scene compatible with the modtool-version of XSI?

oh yeah i can just export the model as .xsi, itll probably triangulate it and you might lose the hard edges as well and other normals but the UVs and mesh should be fine.
EDIT: for some reason XSI keeps crashing when i try to export to .xsi, what other formats can mod tool open?

well while doofi does the texture i was gonna finish all the rest of the small things, i already have the collision done but i was thinkin, should i use all of the cannons on this thing for its foward lasers? notice how it has a whopping 8 barrels, 2 twin lasers on the front fuselage and a twin cannon on each wing, should the pilot control them all or should i make just the ones on the hull shoot? also if i make the 2 on the wings not usable by the pilot should i make them into turrets cause keep in mind that theyll only be able to pitch up and down. i havnt added the rear cannon yet since ive never made a turret on a vehicle but do you think i even should?
